End of Training Mock Battle-1

The weeklong training period has ended today. And to set it off we decided to end it with a mock battle between Pokémon. After thinking for some time, we ended deciding to make it 2vs2 matches. So, the Pokémon took turns in drawing lots to see who their partners are.

Laila POV: -

"Alright guys, partner up with your team, we will decide who will go first." I shout loudly at them.

So, the teams are

1st match

Inkay & Sandile Vs Zorua & Pawniard

2nd Match

Pancham & Purrloin Vs Vullaby & Scraggy

3rd Match

Skorupi & Murkrow Vs Seedot & Nuzleaf

4th Match

Poochyena & Houndour Vs Larvitar & Sneasel

I tell them "Okay, now that the matches order has been decided let's start."

All four Pokémon Inkay, Sandile, Zorua and Pawniard took their place in the field.

Looking at them, I say "Good, now the match starts in three, so do your best."

They all nod at me and get ready for the battle.

"Now 1"

Pokémon POV: -

Inkay immediately uses Calm mind, while Sandile quickly uses Dig and hides in the ground.

On the opposite side Zorua disguises as Pawniard and they both start running towards Inkay.

Both Pawniards attack at the same time,

*Night Slash!!!* Zorua sharpens its claws and slashes at Inkay.

*Cut!!!* Pawniard simply uses cut with its sharp blades in it.

Sandile Quickly comes out from the ground and launches "Crunch" on Pawniard.

Pawniard did not have time to dodge and gets bitten before its attack made contact with Inkay.

*Ouch. Sandile you going to pay for that. Furry Cutter!!!!* Pawniard launches multiple slashes at Sandile.

Smirking Sandile dives into the ground taunting *You got to catch me first* and vanishes.

Pawniard looks around for the next attack.

Back at Zorua, its Night Slash got a hit on Inkay, but It did not cause much damage and Inkay immediately rushes an attack on it.

*Payback!!!* Dark energy gathers and hits Zorua head on.

Inkay suddenly changes its attack and used Thunder on Zorua.

*Not this time. Guillotine!!!!* Seeing Zorua in trouble Pawniard Quickly comes behind Inkay using Agility and attacks it with Guillotine.

*Shit!!!!Prote-* Before it fully completes its move, Pawniards attack landed.

BOOM!!!!!

The attack lands on Inkay and It crashes on to the ground with a loud sound.

While they are busy attacking Inkay, Sandile launches a devastating attack on them.

*You both are going to lose this time, Rock Throw!!!!* Multiple rocks are hurdled towards Zorua and Pawniard. They both get hurt by it.

*Aaaaaaaaaa*X2 Both Pokémon cry in pain, before they get out of the attack, Sandile launches another one on them.

*Take this also, Sandstorm!!!!* Both get damaged from this attack, and they can't even see now.

They both turn their backs at each other, sticking together.

*Now for the final move, Rock Blast!!!!* Multiple rocks are thrown at high speed at them, before they can react, they get blasted by them.

*Noooooo!!!*X2

Boom!!!

Loud noise occurs and both of them got hurt by it, Pawniard mostly as it its weakness. The Sandstorm clears after Sandile cancels it revealing 2 knocked out Pokémon.

"Nice, 1st match winners are Inkay and Sandile." Laila announces the results.

*Yesss!!!!!!!!!!!* Sandile shouts excitedly slowly moving towards Inkay and holding it up, to witness their victory.

Both Pawniard and Zorua look disappointed in their lose.

"Don't be sad, you both knocked out Inkay with teamwork before Sandile came in so be happy. Sandile and Inkay didn't work together properly, mainly because Sandile Sandstorm damages Inkay also so after Inkay got knocked out it launched its moves otherwise you should have won. To win you should have targeted Sandile first before Inkay. " Laila guides us in our mistake and gives us few berries to replenish our strength.
