Having nothing else to do Jason just lied down on the carpet, thinking about his current situation.
'So this is what reincarnation is. Damn, it really feels strange to use a body that doesn't belong to you. I wonder if I would ever be able to unlock the memories of this Jason. Even if he is dead, I have to do my best to fulfill his aspirations, even if it takes a long time.'
'That fight against Reed was really something. Even though I don't know how I managed to reach that state, it was fucking OP. Even that Evil Lord was unable to withstand the attack that ripped its off, how could Reed have any chance? Hahaha'
'But I have to take care not to let such things happen again. After all, getting blown up into smithereens is never fun and I wonder if I would be able to reincarnate once again. I'd better stay low and get stronger as soon as possible'
'I wonder what happened after my body burst into pieces. I hope that the people there are able to find Jane's soul and revive her. Ah, such a shame that I have no idea when I will be able to reach that plane again. I have not even seen her once...'
In fact, when the Soul Energy was flowing through Jason's energy channels, he had lost all control over his body. He could no longer see or hear anything outside, but only feel what his body was doing. It was as if his body was on auto pilot and all he could do was watch his body from the inside.

Time swiftly passed and the sun gradually started setting over the horizon. Having been exhausted from all that happened with him recently, Jason had unknowingly drifted off to fairyland as he lay on the coarse but oddly familiar carpet.
"Jason, Jason, wake up" Suddenly, Jason's beauty sleep was disturbed by Aaron's wake up calls.
"Umm... what's wrong. Let me sleep a bit more," said Jason as he turned away from Aaron trying to enter his dreamland again.
"Wake up, look I have brought bread and one egg. The egg was boiled in the morning and might go bad. Come eat it fast." Aaron said as he gave Jason another nudge.
Hearing about food, suddenly Jason's stomach gave a loud audible growl as if acknowledging the attention that finally someone paid to it.
Jason, unable to disregard this shameful display, woke up as he took the bread and eggs that Aaron brought for him.
"Akk, why is this bread so hard," Jason complained.
"Well, even other helpers get this same bread. We can't really do anything about it."
"Humph, so much for a top sect," Jason huffed and started munching the bread angrily.
Suddenly, he had a realization.
"Wait a minute, how do you have extra food? Surely someone did not gift this to you?!" Jason asked as he sharply gazed at Aaron.
"This, I managed to steal some food when they were not looking. Do not worry about this...."
"Aaron, do I look like I was born yesterday? How can you give me your food? What did you eat if I am eating your food?" Jason asked angrily.
"Jason, please don't worry about me. Look at me, am I not healthy? But you on the other hand literally just woke up from deathbed and obviously need this nourishment far more than me. Just eat it."
"No, this won't do. You have to take at least half for yourself or I am not going to eat this," Jason said adamantly.
"This, ok then... But you cannot refuse when I bring my food to share with you later." Aaron shook his head as he took half of the bread.
As Jason saw Aaron slowly eating the piece of bread by chewing it far too much than necessary, his heart grew heavy with sorrow.
'This bread is so tasteless that even an animal might not eat it. But he just keeps on chewing it as if it were chewing gum so that he can make do with less food. Sigh, looks like I need to have a change in plans.'
Jason had initially planned to lay low and slowly increase his strength, but now he realized how foolish he was. Every extra day that he spent laying low meant every extra night Aaron had to go to bed with an empty stomach due to not having enough to eat. How could Jason let that happen right underneath his nose?
"Aaron, do you know if is there any way to leave the premises of the sect without getting detected?"
"Well, actually there is a very easy way. All you need to do is go further down along the road to the graveyard and you will soon reach a low boundary that you can jump over. Don't worry about the matters here. You should leave immediately as otherwise, it will become dark soon." Aaron said seriously.
"Aaron, listen to me. I am not leaving this place forever. I will be back in a week at the maximum, which could be even earlier,"
"But why do you want to return back to this wretched place? Even if you beg for a living outside, you can have a much better life. Do not worry about me, I was already prepared to live without you." Aaron protested.
"Aaron, did I not say that this place is Shen Gong- the Palace of Gods? How can I leave this place? Alright, do not ask me too many questions. I am leaving now. Just stay low for the next seven days and when I come back, I will definitely have a surprise for you."
"I don't understand, but stay safe. Do not take risks like stealing from a noble or other similar blunders that could get you killed."
"Got it. Take care then," Jason said and started leaving.
"Ah, I just remembered something. Jason, please wait a minute," Aaron said as he hurriedly went to the trunk.
"Here, take this," Aaron said as he handed Jason a small silver coin.
"What is this?" Jason asked, puzzled.
"This is a lesser silver coin. From what I know, it is equivalent to a hundred lesser bronze coins or 10 standard bronze coins. I found it on the floor one day when I was cleaning. As I cannot spend it here in the sect as it would immediately raise eyebrows to my having it in the first place, I have been saving it since then. You might find it handy outside." Aaron said as he gave the lesser silver coin to Jason.
"Ok, I will take it. Thank you," Jason politely received the coin and put it in his pocket. He knew that the coin was serving no purpose here and maybe he could use it somehow to multiply this meager amount into something huge. After all, wasn't that what protagonists always did?
"No problem. All right, it is best for you to leave now. I hope you have a good life out there, Jason." Aaron said with a smile on his face.
"I am not leaving perman... forget it. I will see you in a week. Bye then,"
Jason immediately left the house, fearing another emotional moment coming up once again. It was not that he hated being in emotional situations. If anything, it made him happy deep down in his heart knowing that someone cared about him. But again, these moments made partings so difficult...
'I will be back. And I promise that soon, things will definitely change,' swore Jason as he ran down the path that led to the graveyard.
