While learning to manipulate, mold and create bones, Doevm learned how to create antlers. Now antlers are cool, and he went through a phase where he terrorized farmer's animals with the sheer size of his antlers. In fact, it's what drove Doevm to find something he considered truly cool. Now in the swamp he must use the antlers to assert dominance on wildlife and to blend in. this is going to sound dumb when I wake up

Earlier in the story the lich mentioned how he wasn't able to use holy magic, due to it burning/killing him, but he did figure out light magic and was able to use that. Light magic is fairly cliche and OP but it would be cool if he implemented camouflage to hid himself from the enemies or used light beams to burn/blind retinas. Another cool thing would be if he somehow ****ed up his plan and got overwhelmed by bobcats. He could use light magic like a solar flare to scare them off but that really isn't ideal since it would expose his magic to a lot of ppl and the instructors would prob find out.

omg, @random_writer . laser pointer! while lich doevm was working on light magic, he started small with regular light magic then focusing the light into beams before going big like the spell in the war arc. lich doevm would wanna find the extent of how beans could be used and main difference in ratios in heat or whatever with size and intensity of light not to mention conealability as in how some beans of light are invisible to the naked eye while others aren't maybe relating to humidity our something. ** also cats and laser pointers

Control Swarm. Allows him to manipulate large amounts of insects or vermin. Very handy and useful in a swamp. This would be different from undead where he would share some sort of mental link. It allows him to use more creatures with less or equal strain but less control. I'd most likely use this to track down the cats or lure them into a trap since it's not like he can control enough mosquitoes to drain them dry haha. I was thinking since he's studied magics from many different sources maybe he has ran into a druidic race of some sort and learned it from them. Even a race similar to Skaven (rat people) or Myconid (mushroom people) would have such magics and might of even existed in the swamp once upon a time before being driven out by the dumping.

While experimenting with his regeneration spells he tests spells with other animals and plants. Manages to make mold/spores grow fast. Someone in the story is allergic to the spores and sneezes in a tight situation, causing mayhem or otherwise excitement.

A spell that forcefully rend a persons mind driving them insane in a matter of seconds and leaving them completely blank after a second use, so they are super open to any mental enslavement spells. The spell originates from the Illithid also know as the mind flayers. The first use of the spell is to start chaos in the enemy ranks and the second use is just as it sound. I drew heavy refrence from D&D mind flayers

@random_writer, conjure undead exploding plague rats to get bobcats chase after them and die in explosion, needles to say theyre undead, so its his profile, he mightve invent the spell to reduce population of annoying peasants living nearby.

If I were to think of a spell it would probably use the fog or maybe soul magic or power on those moving tree roots

Dress break magic from highschoool DXD. Pretty convinient magic to remove all armor (and clothes) of all people. Though in the anime it is used to embarass the girls most of the time. Ohh and this magic can possibly quickly remove elero's braces faster, but including clothes ofcourse He learned it because he needed to torture heavily armored individuals when he as still a lich so developed this magic.

As was proven before with the control of plants, might as well return to the ROOTS of his character and raise the dead. nothing better than a tireless scout. Easily explain how he is navigating the swamp so we'll "We bought a map?"
