God, Are You Listening?
Me:
I'm in pain most days
Not willing to fight
Oh my dear God
Are you even listening?
God:
I know your pain I felt it before
Do not think I am closing the door
I love you my child, you knew this before
So sit down for a moment and I'll tell you what for
You came into this life knowing it wouldn't be easy
Just like my begotten, you are something amazing
I let go of your hand so that you may grow
I send my angels when you are feeling low
Your mission on Earth is to be a good friend
To those in need of a helping mend
Look around, you will never be alone
Just reach out your hand for someone below
I'll come when your days are nearing their end
You'll gain that crown, surely you'll win
I'll take you back home like a welcomed guest
well done my faithful servant, enter in and rest.
