Class: *drinks poison* *drinks self-made antidote* *some antidotes work* Prof: *observes reactions* Sophie: *drinks poison* after a bit of discomfort *nothing happens* Prof: *passes out antidotes where needed* *gets to Sophie* "......." Sophie: "........."

Sounds like big points for partial credit. Honestly I like it better than the stories where the protag always beats a challenge especially when it's purposely too hard.

You may not have succeeded in making the antidote but I don’t think you failed. She has succeeded in developing a proper plan in figuring out things :)
