I’m loving where you are taking the story and the slow progress of Leona trying to make up for her past mistakes. I’m really looking forward to the time when Sophie joins the military, but I hope that is far off and that the university arcs aren’t rushed through. Though the pace and detail you’ve been putting into your chapters reassures me that wont happen. I look forward to the next chapter. Thanks for this one!
Still can't help but be suspicious of Cleo. She moves so fast and is so clingy and needy. It's hard to see it as anything other than an act. The nightmares obviously, but everything she does. Even after she expressed her affection for Sophie in contradiction to her mother's wishes she seems to move as if trying to make Sophie an asset, pushing so hard. Maybe it's her upbringing. Maybe it's an inability to go against her mother. . . I'm waiting for some fallout and makeup huggles.
