What a conversation about the books Lani created, between me (Mystic), Lani, and that idiot is like.

This conversation actually happend on 03/28/12 which was before the update she gave,I think, I can't remember. It was like 2am and we were all just talking. Kind of. Moving on :)

Lani:So,I was thinking of un-suspending 'Broken Season' and re doing the entire thing again.

Idiot:'Broken Season' is the first book you wrote right?

Lani:Yes

Idiot:So,did the personal issue end? I know you had to suspend it for personal reasons and a bit of a legal one.

Lani:The legal reason was only due to the fact that the plot was a bit similar to another book I had never heard of. I mean,the genre of my book will obviously has a similar plot to other books in my category depending on how I write it.

Me:Yeah! Like remember those manga books being published? There were a lot of reincarnation princesses with cold cruel dad's but they all got dotted on. You know what I mean,right lani?

Lani:(Is secretly a manga fan but won't admit it)

Idiot:What?

Lani:Nothing moving on. He is just spouting nonsense again.

Me:😮😣

Idiot:Anyways,what you said is true,you can't just claim one plot for your own and not expect someone else to expand on it

Lani:However,I went back and checked and 5 chapters didn't upload properly

Me:The hell does that mean?

Lani:There was supposed to be 2 chapters in between the third and fourth chapter. However, It seems that it wasn't there. And I looked in drafts and the chapters are gone. I didn't even notice I posted them out of order.

Idiot:So the other chapters are gone?

Lani:Yes,unfortunately

Me:So? Just redo the damn chapters. Easy

Lani and Idiot look at me as if I'm a parasite 😢

Lani: *sigh*

Lani: It isn't that simple. I wrote that book a few months ago. I can't just pick up the story I stopped without knowing the original plot.

Idiot:She has a point. Picking up where you left off without actually knowing when or how to pick it up isn't easy. I would say un publish all the chapters and start again but-

Me:Boring! Too much work

Idiot:Then what do you suggest?

Me:Obvious! Delete the entire book and start fresh!

Lani spits out her tea she is drinking (she was sick during this time) and Idiot stares at me like I grew a second head.

Idiot:So basically start from nothing?

Me:Exactly! I mean why stress over a plot you can't remember? Also,you have new ideas don't you?

Lani:Well yes of course, but those are for the other book I was working on. I cant just switch plots just because of my new idea

Me:New story? Which one? You mean 'After us there was-"

Lani:Yes but also no. That book is going to be handed over to Idiot (she actually said his name but I can't remember it cause he's stupid)

Me:Huh? No fair! Why can't I also help out with a book?

Lani: Because,you get off the actual story and write randomly. You also hate typing too much. Besides,me and Idiot came up with this other story together so we both will work on it.

Me:Ugh,no fucking fair~

Idiot:That aside,shouldn't we discuss when to pick up 'Beautiful Everything'?

Lani:Probably May 4th,unless something happens. I do want to pick it up again but..

Me and Idiot look at each other. Lani has her head down and is playing with her fingers. At this point her grandmother was going to be put on life support unless something changed. And this was before the update she made.

Idiot:Lani,leave the books to me and Mystic. I can write a few chapters for 'Beautiful Everything' I won't post them exactly without your permission but-

Lani:Go ahead. If you feel the chapters are good enough then go ahead. I would rather update it at least once every two weeks if possible. I'll give you full control in a few days along with an update.

Me:Wait if he gets control over 'Beautiful Everything' can I write in the 'Short stories' book? I wanna at least do something to help.

Lani:I appreciate it but you dislike literature and don't do books.

Me:But Lani-

Idiot:That's enough,she is stressed out enough as it is. Leave her be with her choices.

Me:pft

Lani:Alright so it's settled then? I will give you control over 'Beautiful Everything' until I return. If you want to post an update in my place go ahead. As for 'Short stories' post at least once every few days.

She looks at me and narrows her eyes.

Lani:Also,do not touch my account on Webnovel or Webcomics or anything got it Mystic? I know you touch my phone without my permission which is fine but do not go through my book tabs or anything

Me:You read a lot of manga

Lani stares at me with a blank look

Me:Hey in my defense,you told me not to look AFTER i already did so-

Idiot:That makes it better how?

Me:Right..

And yes Lani is currently not with us anymore she died.

Just kidding! She got sick due to stress and then was temporarily bed ridden. However she's fine now,but she did leave her phone behind with us to update these books. By us I mean Idiot.

I should go through her reading tabs while I have her phone yeah? 😣 ugh but I would be a bad friend right? Right?!
