Event In The Eating Room(2)

There Arden saw it, the 2 maids that commit evil-doing to him and others, Cassandra and Rose. Both of them are trembling in fear and trying to not make eye contact with Arden.

Arden just smirked while looking at them as they close the door and stood in front of him, still trembling heavily and still trying not to make eye contact.

Arden raised one of his eyebrows and opened his mouth and with the intimidating tone he has, he asked, "So… Whose idea is it to steal my wife's belonging?" Both Cassandra and Rose looked at each other nervously.

They stared at each other eyes and Rose opened her mouth first, "It's her, my lord! I never have any intention of doing an evil deed to you and your family" Cassandra stared at her in disbelieve.

For the first time of her life, Cassandra experience the feeling of being betrayed, she stared at Rose and think, 'This bish! I will drag her down even if I need to go to the dungeon' Rose just smirked while looking at Cassandra.

"My lo…" She tried opening her mouth to argue but quickly getting stopped by Rose with her own arguments.

"My lord, she is also the one that told me to employ those guards! The one that came from the town dungeons," At this point, Rose smirked heavily and Cassandra just looked like the losing side.

Arden thought to himself, his eyebrows can indicate how mad he is, 'This bish didn't even let the other one to argue, I hate her smirk and grin, she is like the people I met at the city of Etria,' Surprisingly, Cassandra hasn't lost her will to live.

She opened her mouth to argue, "My lord, she…" And once again, she is stopped by the grinning and smirking Rose at the winning side.

"My lord…" She is stopped by his lord, staring at her while intimidating her, but she didn't catch the signal and keep arguing.

"She…" His blood was boiling and steams coming out of his ear, his face gradually becomes red and this stopped Rose on her words.

Bob noticed and asked, "What's wrong my lord" Arden just keep staring at Rose and instantly, the one he is looking at sink to the floor.

"Can you shut the f up? You didn't even let her finish her own words and keep throwing out lies we know that is not even true, do you know how much I hate the kind of people like you?" Arden shouted from his seat, his voice echoed around the walls.

Rose wanted to continue but quickly getting stopped by Arden "What are you going to say this time? I'm a false lord? Do you know, there's a time when things don't go your way!" Once again, he shouted.

Rose, not knowing her own limit, started opening her mouth once again and getting cut off by Arden "Cassandra! From now on, until the rest of your life, you will be my wife's personal maid. Period." Cassandra's jaw dropped to the floor and tears started coming out from her eyes.

"What? Why her?" Arden stared back at Rose and opened his mouth.

"From now on, you will get a slap from me for an entire year when I'm at the castle or when I do remember!�� Rose breaks down crying at the place she is standing at.

"Rose, you can go" Rose quickly left the room and Arden turned to Bob, "Bob, comfort her for a bit" Bob quickly followed her and left the room.

Now, the room is only occupied by Arden and Cassandra, "You going to say anything to me?" Cassandra wiped out her tears that came out from her eyes.

"Thank you, my lord, I will make sure that I serve your wife for my whole life" Arden smiled and his smile is disrupted by the almost non-existent sound of the door being opened by someone.

Arden waited and waited, with one of his eyebrows raised, once he saw the person that opened the door, he thought to himself, 'There she is, the new head maid, I will need to ask her name' The maid stood beside Cassandra.

Before she could open her mouth, Arden opened his first "Cassandra, she is the new head maid" Cassandra looked at her with the teary eyes.

"My lord, I haven't introduced myself, right? I'm Lily" The head maid introduce herself when no one asked.

"Lily, can you organize the bedroom beside mine? That would be the new bedroom of Cassandra. Now, I'll excuse myself, I have some works to do," Arden left the room and towards his own bedroom.

While walking through the hallways, he looked down from the second floor and he saw the bodies at the castle yard and a thought fly by his mind, 'I think I'll go and see the casualties at the castle yards' And so, he changed his directions.

He made his way to the castle yard, past his bedroom and Cassandra's. Once he was there, he could see a small kid beside Maverick, look a year younger than Maverick. He is helping Maverick moving the bodies.

He approached them and asked to Maverick, "Hey, who is this young kid?" Maverick stared at Arden while slightly raising one of his eyebrows.

"Sir, you didn't recognize him? He is Austin." Arden stared at the young kid for a good 10 seconds before recognizing him.

"Sorry Austin, you changed a lot in the 3 months we haven't met," Austin just smiled like a kid in a candy store.

"No problem sir, you have changed a lot too, there is some fur coming out at your face," Arden looked a little shocked when he said this.

'I think I need to shave soon' Arden looked at him and said "Thanks for the comment Austin, now I'll go and meet Bryan" Arden saw Bryan at the gate talking to others carrying the body.

He approached him and asked, "Bryan, how much are the casualties at our side?" Bryan stared at Arden while his jaw dropped, he quickly gained his composure and straighten himself.

"Around 10 people sir, the one at enemies is around 50, including the 36 you beheaded," Arden looked at him and thought to himself.

'Woah! My troops are strong now! I remember the time this place was a small village, and they struggled to fight bandits.' Arden thinks while walking around.

Unrealized by him, he left the yard and walk to his own bedroom, while still thinking about many things, 'Let's see what problems needed to be solved' He thought while making his way to his bedroom.

'Oh, yea! The flag of the army, I would need a painter for that, I think I need to write the names of the people I met, its hard to remember them by minds' Arden thought about multiple things he needs to find solutions for.

'I think I will need to check the treasury for them and also visit several places at the castles and city and also find my brother,' The last thing made his face moody as he enters the bedroom.

He entered the bedroom, cleaned his face and changed to more comfortable clothes and just lie at the bed beside his wife that he didn't even notice when he entered and went to sleep at the afternoon.

Then, a scream of pain can be heard beside him, he was woken up by it at the night and it disrupts his sleep. He yawned before wiping his eye and then look at his wife.

He looked at her, touching her own stomach and hitting the bed. He thought for a mere second before rushing out of the room and called Cassandra.

Once he left the room, he could see Cassandra with all her belongings in her hands walking toward her new bedroom.

Both of them look at the face and Arden said "Cassandra, my wife is screaming and touching her belly, what does that mean" Cassandra just stared there for a few seconds.

She dropped all of her belongings and forced her way into the room, she examined the condition and yelled at Arden "Sir, can you get me some warm water?" Arden quickly rushed down the stair and to the kitchen.

"Can someone here get me a bucket of warm water?" All the cook and maid there just stared at him once he burst the door open, and shouted.

It took them a few seconds before all of them understood the situation, except Arden himself. He thought to himself.

'What is happening right now?' One of the maid there quickly gave the warm waters to him and followed him as he makes his way to his bedroom.

Once he was there, he dropped the warm water beside the bed and the other maids saw what happened, rushed inside the room.

Arden just confusedly left the room, not knowing what to do at that situation, and closed the door as he left the room.

Cooks, maid, butler and even the guards were alerted by all of them going to Arden's bedroom. Soon, a crowd gathered at Arden's bedroom.
