Bro, my heart is crushed into tiny pieces😭😭 But I love the flashbacks. Maybe I am a masochist but the angst is so well-written that it makes me want to cry. What I love more is that like in other books, they did not say hurtful things to each other just out of spite nor did they act stupid over silly things. They just suffered because of their circumstances. She said these things to protect him not knowing that those were his deepest insecurities😭💔 And he, maybe he is putting up an arrogant front to keep his pride or mask or what I don't know my heart is breaking ahh
