Warning : This review is just a rant (I do it a lot) of me toward someone (not trying to give names here) Judging from it, it's for the moment akin to a cooking system but it's probably not the only uses of this quote-unquote "System" ( I say that because it's more like a GAME LIKE THE TITLE SAYS, I put an emphasis on that so that a certain person understand that with his brain the size of a peanut). The System has many uses, looking at memories of people (It sure is something everybody can do isn't it?), when his foods gets eaten, depending on a satisfaction factor, he'll get a certain amount of experience that can, after the level 5, be put in skill mastery like Physics, knife, heat control ... (Who can't do that I mean). There are also some achievements, some are useless (Probably because of how easy they are to get, who wouldn't understand that.. Wait ..) Some are useful, they have special attibutes, the system can also allow him to obtain magical item (who doesn't have those) like a container that stores food, and the food within it won't change at all, billboard that attract the attention of other.. Also, shut up DWarden.. Ah damn I gave out the name.

This is a chef system novel. I say system lightly because it's mostly useless as it points out stuff that can be done normally. This is a pure slice of life that drags at a snail's pace. I personally wouldn't recommend this as they stretch content where a single chapter only has him cook a dish for his neighbor. Not to mention much of the people have as much character as a plank of wood.

The plot is slow moving and at times feels more like a slice of life, but with a system in the background. It's a rather fun, slow read. If you are looking for action than this is not for you, but if you want a hard working, normal Mc then this is for you.

This is a cooking novel with a system. The story is very light-hearted and the system doesn't make the MC OP. From what I've read, this is always the case with Chef systems. It's necessary to let the reader's know that cooking requires lots of practice, experience, etc!!!! 🤣 Anyway, I hope this novel gets chosen! I want to read more 😭

A great novel full of character. It’s simply a amazing read making me smile and laugh reading through it all. I recommend this to you all and hope you can push this through trial read to the voting pool. However unlikely, this novel is great and deserves some attention

I wish this I could read this novel somewhere else if webnovel isn’t gonna do it. It’s has a very nice and calm Plot which you can fall back to when you’re tired of all those action plots and constant plot twists e.t.c.

Why isnt this updating? Its such a great novel, better than 99 percent of the garbage on this website. Is someone gonna pick this up eventually, or is this donezo?

Love this story, fantastic writing and food description! Really goes in depth into the history of food and how it is intricately connected to the Chinese culture

Good cooking novel

Story's so far is very well written with a believable progression and realistic life for the MC. Would recommend for anyone who's looking for a good system novel to hold you over until any new updates.

Not only is the cover amazing and tells you what it’s going to be about and hw funny so is the story and the t is the perfect slice of life story to sit down and relax to

It's a slow-paced, slice-of-life, system novel that's somewhat cooking-centric since the MC hails from a family of chefs but also incorporates things outside of cooking (look at title). The MC is also hardworking, and the system isn't that big of a cheat. If you're looking for a fast-paced novel and an OP MC that quickly conquers the entire world's taste buds, then this isn't for you. I really hope that this will be accepted into the voting pool because everything about this novel just fits my reading preferences. I don't want it to get removed like Plague Doctor (which I also really liked).
