If you refer to Fiverr, people are charging 5 usd to translate 100 Chinese words to English. Me? I'm earning 2.5 usd per 1k words. Of course, there's a difference between professional translator and an ******* one. But the difference is still too big for me to keep on accepting it. Furthermore, I have a degree in English and a Masters in English Literature, so I'm not technically that much of an ******* either. So the goal will have to be readjusted.
