EPISODE 192: The Heart of Hatred and Vengeance!

"Lunar, thaw Kalem and Lucario! The Pokemon Police Department is on its way." Hemera demanded.

"Traitor!" Lunar enunciated with anger and frustration.

"I pity you for believing the lies of the king... Or should I say? Self-proclaimed king?

Let them go right now Lunar! Once Arville becomes a God, you and the rest of the regime serve no purpose to him anymore. Can't you see how the king is using you for his own ambitions? He carries nothing in his hands except for his ambitions." Lunar encouraged with conviction.

"Traitor! I treated you like a sister, I thought you were different from the rest! It turns out... you're one of them, a turncoat!" Lunar enraged while tears drenched out of her eyes.

"Hemera, the past is behind us, all we can do is to forgive those who have wronged us in the past. Vengeance is not the key, mercy is." Hemera persuaded while slowly coming forth to her.

"Sometimes... the person you'd take a bullet for is standing behind the trigger. I thought you were a friend, a friend who thawed my frozen heart. We spent time together in the regime, even when we were young adults we spent time together.

I trusted you, but now your words mean nothing because your actions spoke the truth. If only you didn't leave." Lunar knelt down as tears drenched to the icy battlefield.

"We can still be together, we can still spend time together, outside the regime. I know how it's like to feel betrayed, and I know you know how it feels too. Both of us have been anguished by our past. Vengeance will not calm our heart over those who've betrayed us, only mercy can.

Please, take my hand, and walk by my side, together we'll walk in the right path." Hemera continued to walk and persuade the commander. She tried to convince her to stray from the path she chose.

"Don't be afraid, I feel it too, you're not alone, neither am I," Hemera added while speaking with a solemn voice. She stood her friend from the ground and hugged her tightly. Soon, tears flowed down each other's eyes, even Vermont and the clone were shocked.

"I know what I have to do, but I don't know if I have the strength to do it. I'm being torn apart. I want to be free from this pain." Lunar uttered solemnly while hugging Hemera tightly.

"Will you help me?" Lunar added and cried heavily.

"Of course, you're my friend, I'll always be by your side to help you." Hemera smiled while wiping off Lunar's tears from her face.

Lunar slowly placed her hand in her pocket. She lifted her pistol and slowly handed it to Hemera. Her hands shivered while giving the gun, for me, she didn't want to be part of the regime anymore.

"Give it to me, leave the painful past and move to the future. The pistol which the king gave you for your twentieth birthday, it's what drags you down." Hemera smiled and held the tip of the gun.

"Thank you, Hemera." Lunar smiled and wiped off her tears with her other hand. Hemera smiled for the last time, and that's when her ninth symphony took place. Lunar pulled the trigger as the bullet pierced through her friend's heart. I guess I was wrong after all.

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry but I have to do this. I am loyal to the king, I may have thorns on me, but I can't stray from the path I chose." Lunar's tears drenched once more. Hemera's internal organs started to fail rapidly, especially her heart. She touched Lunar's face and wiped off her tears as she drops dead on the icy floor. Lunar felt a sudden guilt with what she did, she dropped her pistol and knelt before her friend's dead body.

"Hemera... no." Camellia's tears burst forth like water flowing from a dam. Her hand which covered her mouth shivered. Camellia couldn't bear to watch a commander die in front of her eyes. Being the daughter of the king, she made cherishable memories with Hemera as well. Glade was also shocked by what he saw. The aquatic commander of the regime has passed away.

"You did what's right Lunar. A traitor like her deserves to be killed. We must go now before the cops arrive, I'll bring the boy's body to the helicopter, the frozen Lucario can stay." Vermont slow clapped while complimenting Lunar's actions.

Vermont is the first admin of the Masked Revelations. Violet and Vermont make up the black and white duo due to their tuxedos.

"Leave Kalem alone! Return my Pokemons as well!" Camellia stood up and infuriated.

"Your Pokemons? Eh, you can have them. They won't follow me anyway." The clone uttered sarcastically. and threw all of Camellia's Pokeballs back to her.

"Why did you do that to your friend Lunar!? Now you live to regret your decision." Glade infuriated while preparing to toss his Pokeball.

"I am loyal to no one except for your majesty. What's done is done, my mission is complete." Lunar uttered softly while mesmerizing at Hemera's face.

"Give us the boy, or you'll end up like the former commander," Vermont warned.

"Sure, strike me down and you'll spark a war between the mafia and the regime." Camellia giggled and beamed sarcastically while protecting my frozen body.

"This is the Pokemon Police Department! Hands up commander, you're surrounded." Officer Jenny burst in with her officers and guards. Their Pokemons prepared to attack at Vermont, the clone, and the commander.

"Now what Lunar?! We're outnumbered, looks our this mission was a complete failure." Vermont beamed sarcastically.

"My mission is a success. We should leave now." Lunar suggested while looking at Hemera's dead body.

"Leave!? Are you insane, the king wants the boy!" The clone beamed with worry and frustration.

"You do know that the king will scold you. He wants his ambitions to come true, if we leave the boy, we're finished." Vermont warned.

"Tell me how it goes with the police. If I were you, I would rather think of plan C rather than going to prison." Lunar stood up and beamed sarcastically. She threw a smoke grenade and escaped with Vermont and the clone.

The smoke settled minutes later. Lunar and the other two were able to circumvent the police once more. Only Hemera's body was seen in the center of the stage.

"Thank you for calling us immediately. The mystery behind this city has been solved. We'll run further investigations to capture every grunt and member dwelling in this city." Officer Jenny saluted at Glade while her guards slowly wrapped Hemera's body with an orange cloth. Blastoise couldn't stop crying. She couldn't except his trainer's death.

For years, they've been together, and their bond will be inseparable, even if the trainer is no longer alive. Blastoise wanted to attack Lunar from the moment she shot his trainer. Glade tried his best to stop Blastoise from rampaging across the battlefield while taking vengeance for his trainer's death.

"Officer Jenny! Please help Kalem too. Is there any way to defrost him and Lucario?" Camellia interrupted and panicked while begging for ways to thaw our bodies in front of Officer Jenny.

"We'll do what we can to defrost Kalem and Lucario. Still, it's uncertain if he could still live, and by the looks of the ice, they've been frozen for a long time, which means they're either in a critical state or dead already. Hypothermia could be the possible cause." Officer Jenny said with uncertainty while observing me and Lucario's frozen body.

"Officer, death is not an option! There must be a way! The Pokemon Center, is it able to defrost Kalem and Lucario through natural procedures?" Glade declined Officer Jenny's statement. He convinced her to find a way to thaw me and Lucario's body.

"No... I believe there is no way. Officer Watson, is the helicopter still outside?"

"Yes ma'm. Is there anything we should do?" Officer Watson responded.

"Alright, there's still a minimal chance to thaw their bodies. We can deliver them to the Pokemon Center in Aulmurus city, but! I can not assure you that they'll still be alive. Only a miracle or a minimal chance could save them."

"Aulmurus city!? But isn't that going to lead us further from Dracovolt?" Glade questioned.

"We have no choice Glade! Kalem and Lucario is in need of help. Officer Jenny, we'll come to Aulmurus city." Camellia uttered worriedly.

"No problem. Officers, bring the kid's body and his Pokemon to the helicopter. Officer Watson, tell the pilot to bring those two frozen bodies to Aulmurus city. I'll follow the helicopter with my vehicle." Officer Jenny commanded.

"Alright, boys! you heard the general."

"Glade, and Camellia. You'll ride with me." Officer Jenny instructed.

"Your majesty, the traitor has been killed." Lunar came forth and knelt before the king.

"And the boy? Where is he?" Arville leaned forward with eagerness to the know the result.

"Dead perhaps."

"What do you mean dead perhaps!? Where is his body!?" Arville's voice heated up.

"We got surrounded, by the police your majesty. Escaping is our only option. Vermont and the clone retreated back to their headquarters for now.

But, I know a way to find Mewtwo's location."

"Go ahead, this better be a good one."

"The boy has a pendant. An Arceus pendant to be exact. I'm very certain that Mewtwo ordered the kid to go to the mountain for other purposes aside from the league. If we stalk and follow Kalem, he'll lead us straight to Mewtwo.

Once Mewtwo has been captured, we're left with two options. Either summon and harness, or steal the pendant and wish for the power to become God." Lunar suggested.

The king's mind infuriated. Knowing that he doesn't rely on wishes, he couldn't simply accept the commander's suggestion. What will be the regime and the mafia's next steps? Will Lunar's suggestion be approved? Only time will tell as the journey continues...
