"Once I recover a bit more, we should head out. One of the men told me they will be heading toward the Crimson Grotto and that the ritual will begin on the next full moon. That is only 2 days from now and it will take almost a day to get there on foot."

So we had about a day to prepare and then we'd have to set off. While her external injuries seem to have recovered, she is still not at 100%. We would need her to be as strong as possible for the confrontation.

"Your blood was surprisingly effective in healing my injuries, I am honestly surprised. Normally even a cup of human blood wouldn't be enough to even heal the facial injuries I had. I won't pry and ask why that is the case, but.... can I ask you to help me recover a bit more?"

"Ummmm.....I think you misunderstood. My external injuries are healed thanks to your blood earlier, it was very effective. However, my lifeforce is still recovering. They will recover with time, but we don't have that amount of time."

Lifeforce? What the hell is that? Is that tied to her mana? Another question I need to ask her after this is all over.

For the second time in an hour, I inadvertently groaned.

The room was devoid of noise aside for the sounds of slurping, sucking, and my unintentional groans. She had apparently used this on the bandits, slowly ebbing away at their lifeforce, and then sucking the one guy dry in one go when he unloaded. I was heavily conflicted, I didn't want this amazing feeling to end, but at the same time part of me still had enough sanity to remember why we were doing this. Time was of the essence. I had even tried to talk her into taking more, but she told me it was for the best if we ended it there.

With her needing time to recuperate, I took the opportunity to force myself to head out of the cave to try and raise my level. I was also hoping I could find better minions, I remember Brianna telling me the Draft was a combination of the Dragon Rat and Forest Tiger, so maybe I could run into a Forest Tiger out here.

I also wanted to head into town to deliver the quest and get supplies for the trip. I told her I would be back before the next sunrise, and we would leave together for the Crimson Grotto. As I headed farther away from the cave, my head seemed to clear up and I was finally able to push aside the thoughts of our previous actions.

Is this due to her being part Succubus? I had felt that all I wanted to do there during and after the act was... MORE. I just wanted more. I thought at first it was just my inner pervert awakening, but it seems that there might be more to it. Perhaps a Succubus can make you lose reason? That would make sense, especially since one of the bandits didn't even notice to the point that he died.
