9. Meeting Eiji and Genzo

I reached home and I explained the circumstances I faced in the Himejima household and the fallen angels. Azazel was pained to see his kind dying but shook it off as those are warmongering, rebel fallen angels. He is a pacifist, it will happen sooner or later.

I then meditated for a bit, I slowly let my demonic power revolve around me and I entered my sin devil trigger state. I achieved success and my power was 100x much stronger than normal devil trigger. I gathered the leaking demonic energy and absorbed it and continued rotating it inside my body. It was a refreshing feeling. I then cancelled my sin devil trigger and slept.

Mayumi can't sleep that night, she was worried for the two of them. She wants to see the aftermath but all she saw was a burning shrine, she cried and cried as she thought her friends have died. She finally slept after her eyes automatically closed from crying.

It was morning, I woke up and ate my breakfast and waved goodbye to Azazel who is reading porn mags.

As I was walking to school I then opened the scroll in my mind.

Preferred random ticket - summons anyone or anything based on your preference for example you prefer someone to tame animals, you will either get a taming manual or a tamer itself.

I forgot that I have Griffon and the familiars, oh well. Not like I can do anything 'bout it. I then telepathically contacted them in my summon space, I told them I can't summon them as they are too big and bizarre appearance so they'll have to change their form and also GRIFFON SHOULD BE QUIET.

Agreeing with my demands, I summoned griffon who turned into a humming bird and the panther turned into a small cub and the golem into a gorilla. I can't summon a gorilla so I only summoned Griffon and the panther they sat in my shoulders as I walk to the school. As soon as I was near the gates, a person came rushing to me and we fell to the ground. I caressed her long hair while she is sobbing.

"Come on stand up, Mayumi. People will see us soon."

"Shut up, I don't care. I thought I lost you two." I sighed as Akeno will not be going to school anymore.

Just as I've said Akeno won't be going to school anymore, the class advisor told the class that due to special circumstances, Akeno would be leaving the town including her studies.

Mayumi was kind of devastated that she lost one of her best friend. It is not my style but I assured her by patting her head while we're eating lunch at the yard because the cafeteria is full. She also asked what exactly happened. I said that they found Akeno is a hybrid blood of fallen angel and a human. Shuri's friend rescued them and they took them under their protection. Mayumi complained that their family could be the one who'll protect them but what happened, already happened.

Azazel had already told what happened making Barakiel rampage in madness for a whole day. Barakiel expressed his gratitude to me for saving his family.

The days went on and soon a month has passed. After losing Akeno, Mayumi was now getting closer and closer to me casually clinging to my arm which made the people in the class speculate rumors about it, she's also fond of the cub familiar I have and doesn't like griffon who is in his humming bird form saying that she feels like that humming bird is very noisy, in fact Griffon was cursing and complaining talking to me in telepathy, saying that he wants to get her ass kicked for saying stuff against Griffon.

We then grabbed a bite to end the day but four black suited men blocked our way.

"We need you to follow us at the main branch. Your father was calling you as well young miss." The head guard said.

'Looks like they've talked about what happened about Akeno.'

"Sure, lead the way." I said nonchalantly which shocked Mayumi as over the years that we spent together, she knows that I don't like troublesome things, this is one of the first that she sees me taking the initiative.

They lead us to a black limousine and when we entered we were greeted by two elders, one of which was the one spying and protecting Mayumi in the shadows and the other, if I'm not wrong is Mayumi's grandfather.

"Greetings, grandfather." Mayumi greeted. 'Well, she cleared who the person is.'. I then nodded at the two. The head guard seemed to be irritated that I didn't respect the old man, but Mayumi's grandfather waved him off.

"Greetings, young man. You should be one of Mayumi's friend that she keeps talking about on and on.". I smirked at Mayumi causing her cheeks to redden as she was busted.

"Well, yes I am." I said still acting like its nothing

"Care to introduce yourself, young man?" Mayumi's grandfather said.

"Isn't it rude to ask me to introduce myself while not introducing yours?" I raised a brow as the head guard is getting more pissed of by my attitude.

"My apologies young man. This one beside me is Genzo, an old friend of mine. I'm sure you've met him before. My name is Eiji Saegusa. How about you, young man?" Eiji introduced the elder and himself to me

"Vergil, Vergil Redgrave. Sup' Genzo old man? Gathered enough info about me?" I smiled at Old man Genzo as he still kept on gathering info about me over the years. I don't know to what extent though, not like I cared about it.

"I apologize, Vergil. Just want to be sure if you are a threat to the young miss and just following the orders of a loving grandfather. A very loving one at that." Mayumi giggled while Eiji looked away. I really am amused at their interaction.

"Well, to what do I owe the pleasure to be invited by the previous head of the Saegusa family?" I looked at Eiji who had a serious expression.

"Fallen angels." Looks like my guess was right. Just those two words implied they are talking about an attack that almost harmed Mayumi, have I not warned them.

The enemies won't be able to touch them though as I'm with the two. I just don't want to show Mayumi such open bloodshed early. She would soon know about it but not now, so I warned Genzo about the incoming attack.

"Well let's see what we have." I said nonchalantly as we drove to the Saegusa family's main gates.
