18. The Ball

Three hours had flown after Anna and Ava join Dj and Gea in Malikha treatment room, Anna and Ava excuse themselves as they have done for the makeup and should heading to the hotel where the event took place, their dresses are ready in one of the hotel room per they supervisor informed earlier.

S management book rooms in the hotel that organize the event based on the invitation shared, each invitation had a code that could be used for the room arrangement. Gea gave her room arrangement to Dj and didn't bother to ask Dave for His code as she told Dave that she is planning to go back to her apartment midnight and heading B city early Saturday morning.

Gea could conclude that Anna still struggling with her feelings towards her supervisor while Ava it's slowly beginning to realize her feelings about someone however considered her job as one of S management top Secretary and the other person's behaviour she tried to brush away her feelings of.

Gea attention really focus on Ava, she really needs her information, she does have some information about her during Anna session as these two women really closed to each other however it's her first time meeting her.

Gea and Dj went to the fitting room soon after Anna and Ava leave them.

In one of the hotel room, David is getting ready for His company event, Edward was ready to knock on the door of David room when the door opened.

"Are the two ladies ready?" David asked Edward while closed his door behind and walked to the elevator

"They are" Edward point his face ahead indicating the beautiful ladies, standing in front of the elevator waiting for them. They entered the elevator and going right to the event place.

"Shall we?" David signalled Anna to hold in his left arm while Edward gave his to Ava when the elevator 'ding' heard. They walked out of the elevator and go right at the entrance area of the event while greetings some staff at their posts and guests that just arrived.

As the host of the event, David Likes to be the first that arrived at the scene and greet others. As always not many that recognize David as the CEO and owner of S' management, some of the top secretaries that accompanying him always considered normal as he is one of the 'S management first recruits and was rumoured a closed person to their CEO and David do not have any intention to correct it.

At the entrance is easier for David to see the guests entered. David squinted his gazes when asked Anna

"Is that Mr Hendricks in front of White Lexus?"

"Yes, it is" Ava answered it instead of Anna

"Isn't it the Lady that we met during our trip to I country that wraps in Mr Hendricks arm" David's voice sounds happy yet disappointed at the same time, but others seem to not notice it.

"Yes, she is" Anna could see Gea walking gracefully beside Dave

Behind Dave and Gea are Dj and George walking together, seen like newlywed.

"Mr Stevenson"

"Mr Hendricks"

Both of them David and Dave greet each other before letting out laughter then embraced each other in deep and warm hugs as a brother who long time not seen one another.

David and Dave are the first members of S management and actually, Dave hold some of the company's share even not much compare to David, both of them are best friends even though separate by their busy schedule and when they have time to meet they'll inseparable for days, their brotherhood runs deeper that only several people knew bout it, that's how they prefer as well. In this industry, it is better to keep low as much as you can

"This is Ms Gea Graham, my plus one" Dave introduce Gea to David

"Ms Graham" David shake Gea's hand and feel a bit weird of his wishing that could hold this hand bit longer

"Please, called me Gea" Gea smile to the person that shakes her hands, and questioning the familiarity that she feels of this person

Gea could notice Anna and Ava's discomfort feeling even for just a second wandering what about it. Gea signalled Dave to walk further inside as soon as her eyes and nose sense food aroma.

"Please excuse us" Dave show their intention to part away after shakes hand with David entourage.

Gea let out laughter when Dave tease her for not keep her image looking at her full plate. still, he fills his with Gea favourite food as he cherishes her a lot.

They didn't realize that all their interactions since entering the event being followed by other persons gaze.

Gea dance with Dave for one circle and retreat herself in the corner couch to enjoy some coke

"Hy, there .... would you like to dance another round with me?" Gea lookup and saw David asking her to Dance

"I am sorry, one round it's a lot already for me" seen David disappointment, Gea feels twitch in her heart and hurriedly adds

"but I can enjoy some company if you don't mind"

"Sure, I would love to" David sat beside her and took another glass of coke from the waiters that passersby.

As both of them sit and talk, Dave Dance with Anna before exchange to Ava and gave Edward and Anna couple circle of Dance.

Putting in mind that he just being nice to Dave plus one, David comfortably talk with Gea

"So which floor your room arrangement?" David asked

"No, I don't have any room arrangement here as I plan to leave early or latest midnight in order to catch up early train tomorrow to B city."

"Oh so you have your weekend planned" David thinking of his own agenda to visit his mom this weekend it's just he hoped to leave tomorrow afternoon instead of morning

Gea do not why but she enjoys talking to this man and let herself opened up more than she used to others.
