I must confess, I do find it confusing that people are simply expected to marry whom they are told to, in this day and age with wealth at their side which one would think allows them so many more options and opportunities to oppose such matrimonial measures. But again I could be guilty of being arrogant and uninformed about normalitities in other cultures and countires.
