HARRY POTTER IN WESTEROS AS DOMERIC BOLTON Part-XIX

* Petyr arrives in Vale and marries Lysa Arryn a few days later. He didn't found any changes in her personality except for the few times when she sent a few resources up North for some reason.

He didn't understand her motivations but then again, Lysa Arryn had always been… eccentric so he didn't think much about her actions.

A few weeks after her marriage, Lysa Arryn falls from the slippery stairs and break her neck.

* Harry was talking with the commanding officer of his legions at the moment. He was giving them orders to go to the different castles in the Wall and reinforce them.

He was also sending a huge amount of supplies as well as Glass weapons and builders to rebuilt the castles that were in bad condition.

As he finished the meeting, he suddenly felt his magical connection with Lysa Arryn cut off and frowned. He dismissed the commanders and once they did, he quickly performed a complicated spell and found that Lysa Arryn was dead.

That was a pity because with Lysa's death, all the resources of Vale were now unavailable to him. Not that he had not already taken most of the important resources for himself but the point remained. She was still useful.

With a single crack, he reached the the Castle of Eyrie and started investigating the death of Lysa Arryn.

It wasn't hard for him as the biggest suspect was Petyr Baelish so he started by interrogating the man. A simple imperio spell and the man started parroting all the sins he had committed in his life.

After hearing what he wanted to hear, he wondered what he should do next.

Lysa Arryn was a half crazy woman so controlling her was easy. Petyr Baelish on the other hand was a very intelligent and complicated man. A little slip up and the people under him will realize that something wasn't right.

So what should he do now.

After some introspection, he decided to not kill Petyr Baelish as keeping him alive was just too dangerous. The man was a schemer and as soon as he hears about the wealth of his family and Dany's dragons, he would start scheming against him. That couldn't be allowed to happen at any cost.

So after making Petyr tell him about all the wealth and resources in his pocket, he cast the killing curse before throwing him down the Moon Door.

* Down in the South, Stannis had sent men to bring his wife and daughter to Kings Landing. But upon arriving, he found that his wife had contracted a disease while in the ship and died of high fever along the way.

He didn't love her and had only married her for duty. But she was his wife so he mourned for her for a day before going back to his duties.

That night Malisandre came to his bed and consoled him. The next morning, she suggested that he marry Margaery Tyrell, put a child on her and make Tyrell his allies.

Her words were convincing and he had a suspicion that this was Malisandre's plan all along. He suspects that Malisandre was the one who killed his wife as well. But even if she did, it wasn't like he could do anything to change that at this point.

He just hoped that she won't hurt his daughter.

The next day, Malisandre held a wedding ceremony and Margaery was foricbly married off to Stannis.

After he spent the night with Margaery, he hoped that she would become pregnant quickly enough. Maybe a boy this time. And he hoped that Mace Tyrell won't be stubborn enough to fight against his rule or all his preparation will be in vain.

* Harry went to Bear Island and saw the troops preparing for the War up in the Wall and saw Lyanna coordinating the whole preparations.

He told her that it was time and she gave the reins to the Maester of the Castle and the Master-at-arms before she left with him.

Once they were suitably far away from the castle, he apparated back to Dreadfort with her.

She was surprised by the travel method and he explained his status as a Wizard to her.

She was even more surprised to hear about some of the things he could do but told him that she already guessed that there was something unnatural about him. After all, no one else in history has done the things that he could do.

He was glad that she was putting her brilliant mind to use and told her that she'll the lands along with Dany in his absence.

He then took her to the room where Dany, Ygritte and Sansa were currently having lunch.

He could feel some tension in the room as Ygritte didn't hide her disdain for Sansa while Dany wore a false smile while making small talk with Sansa. He could guess that the both of them didn't like Sansa but that wasn't much of a problem for him.

If they didn't like her then he'll just send her back to Winterfell.

Sure she was beautiful and he wouldn't mind fucking her but there were far more beautiful and exotic whores in his brothel.

He left Lyanna in Dany's care and told her to teach her how to rule his lands before he left the room.

* Harry checked up on his men and supplied that had already arrived at Castle Black.

He used his Glass Candle and looked down south and could see more and more Northern Lords coming to Castle Black with their small (in his comparison) armies. Once arriving in Castle Black, they would rest for a day before taking the Dragonglass weapons and supplies he had kept for them and going to their respective Castles along the Wall where they would start the renovation of the defences.

Then he started scrying for an isolated White Walker up in the North and when he found one of them, he prepared his elites and portkeyed to that location.

* It was an ambush.

He realized this as soon as he arrived because he could feel multiple undead signature burried under them within a thin layer of ice.

Where he had expected to meet some 200 wights, he and his men now had to fight against some 3000 wights along with half dozen White Walkers.

They were attacked before his men could even make any sort of formations.

Still, a dozen or so elites and his sworn shields surrounded him and made a protective barrier around him as he wasn't a hand to hand fighter.

He didn't panic and remained calm as he knew that the Night King was not an idiot and would try such a trick sooner or later.

All of his men had received an emergency portkey that would take them back to his base in Dreadfort in case something like this happened.

But they won't use it until he gave them his permission.

And he didn't because while this was a dangerous situation, this was also a good chance to take out six White Walkers at once.

So for the first time since he arrived with his Elites in the North, he took out his wand and started casting wide area spells that would destroy the Wights and give his elites some breathing room and the chance to create a formation to fight off the wights.

He cast the spell and a good amount of the wights around him dropped dead like flies.

The second time he tried to cast a spell, he was pushed down by one of his sworn shield as a ice spear flew by and pierced three of his elites before stopping.

He looked in the direction where the ice spear had come from and noticed one of the White Walker who was sitting on top of an undead horse which had half a dozen spears.

Those spears were deadly. He knew that because they pierced the magically enchanted armor his men were wearing like butter.

He also understood that bringing his dragons anywhere near those spears would be a huge mistake. Not only would he risk losing his dragons. But if the White Walkers have the power to resurrect dragons then they would gain the ability to fly past the wall which would pose a huge danger to his army.

He raised his spell and pointed it the White Walker who was taking out another ice spear.

Before the White Walker could even take an aim, he opened his Bottomless bag and brought out thousands of small Dragon Glass shards and expelled them toward the White Walker whose eyes widened at the last moment before it shattered like glass.

He then pointed Dragon Glass shards at the other White Walkers and expelled it toward them at the speed of bullets and they went down in a similar manner.

And just as soon as they did, most of the Wights surrounding him and his men went down as well.

His elites took care of the leftover and he told them to take the corpse of their comrades before retreating.

Once all of them had left, he used Appartition and came back to the base as well.

He noticed that of the 100 elites he had gone North with, only about half survived the ambush.

His men took off their magical armor that had run out of magic from taking numerous hits and burned the dead.

After casting the ignition spell, he noticed that his wand was smoking and had numerous cracks on it. He threw the wand in the Pyre and wondered if the loss of his men had been worth the lives of those 6 White Walkers.

Yes it had been. Especially because he learned about their ice spears and how deadly those weapons can be for his dragons. That information had been well worth the lives of his men.

After burning the dead and dispersing his men, he went back to his office where he sat down and thought about the ambush and realized that if all the White Walkers had been using the Ice Spears then he would probably had died as no armor or magical shield would be able to hold off those Ice Spears and he could only dodge so much before making a mistake.

He wondered why all of them didn't do it and realized that the Ice Spears must be a valuable and rare commodity among the White Walkers.

So he apparated back to the North and took all the Ice Spears as well as the Ice swords lying around before coming back. He would rather not have these Ice Spears be used against him, his men or his dragons once again.
