Little Word Qin
This can be taken as a post apocalyptic novel, As the monsters are roaming the world and they keep coming out of space cracks which form randomly, The humans live in protected settlements. The humans can either awaken a melee skills which makes the body stronger or awaken powers like fireballs and etc. from serums. The MC has an OP ability to steal powers from dead bodies to strengthen his body, He also gets a similar cultivation skill. Because of the past events, He is quite ruthless when he needs to be but also helps out his friends. Despite the MC being OP his enemies are extremely OP too for his current level. He will be fighting them for quite some time if not till the end of novel. Overall I like this novel mostly because of his powers which seems quite intriguing and OP. The translation quality is also good.
Yet another cliche novel. I seriously don't know why people give this 5 stars. Originality 0 points, few plot loopholes in first few chapters with chaotic style of writing. It feels like someone who read x amounts of novels on same theme, put his thoughts in first few chapters and then started working from there. Usually i read at least 40-60 chapters to give story a chance, but i couldn't get past 13.
The translation is nearly mtl level- some times you can't understand what us going on. Author mixes up timeframes, is utterly inconsistent with his own plot. MC was promising at ch1 where he did sustain some damage and was not to op, next he gets overly op, on top of that he gets godlike skill, that has it's downside but nah op mc just overrides is with his opnes. The idea is good, the realisation sucks.
Genre: Action, Fantasy, Sci-fi, Wuxia Tags: Apocalypse, Gunfighters, Male Protagonist, Orphans, Past Plays a Big Role, Post-apocalyptic Status in COO: 1087 chapters (complete) Pretty cliché type of novel and basically all interactions from the MC feel really emotionless (whole novel). If you have nothing else to read it can be fun...
Typical god like author with everything falling at his feet, world building is ok, social interaction is ok. The reason i gave 2 stars is because author does not even bother to correlate with what he writes in previous chapters, basically he writes whatever he wants, even names can change according to his whim!! . Be prepared for a god like mc and a nonsense novel
After reading all 60 chapters I believe this novel shows much more promise than some other trash that is here on trial read. The story development and character of the MC are enjoyable as he doesn't bullshiit around most of the time and kills the enemy. The only things holding this story back are the poor translation quality(grammatical mistakes and stuff) and the fact that the power system has not been explained at all and you'll have to guess it as you read. It's not too hard to understand the power structure but it would've been nice if a glossary was added for explanation. The timeline might get messed up a couple times but that comes under poor translation quality. All in all, the story so far has been good, as I said much better than some other cliché trash on trial read. Of course since it's a reincarnation novel there'll be some cliché but it's not that bad and you can look past it easily
Im reading reviews and im wondering whether we read the same novel. Nothing i read in first 40 free chapters made sense. I dont know whether its fault of translator or author. It felt like author didnt know whats he writing about, nothing in the story was coherent and made sense. Every few chapters mc would pull some new move out of ass, or tell some backstory that didnt fit what we read earlier.
