Heavenly beauty and dashing prince

Yu Chen opened the door to see a very nervous looking Huo Zenghai standing there, running his hands through his hair.

Chen slapped his hand away and scolded him as she combed his hair with her hand, "Stop spoiling your look. I don't want you to undermine Hua's beauty."

Zenghai let out a small smile before straining his neck to look behind Chen.

Yu Chen chuckled and said, "Come on. I'll take you to her."

She then put her hands over Zenghai's eyes and gently led him to the living room.

Once there, Chen said, "Ready?"

Huo Zenghai slowly nodded and his voice came out all squeaky, "Catch me if I fall."

Yu Chen chuckled and removed her hands from over Zenghai's eyes.

Huo Zenghai slowly opened his eyes and they collided with Hua's, who was looking at him with a nervous anticipation.

Zenghai forgot to breathe as his eyes travelled all over Xi Hua, from her exquisitely done hair, and her unearthly beautiful face, to her perfect body wrapped in the dark maroon dress.

Zenghai seemed to be in a daze as he walked forward, his eyes now fixed to Hua's face.

Xi Hua watched in anticipation as Zenghai walked upto her and gently touched her cheek with the tip of his finger.

Hua tilted her face to lean into his hand, which perfectly cupped her cheek.

"Not good?" Xi Hua asked, with a smile. She already knew the answer by Zenghai's reaction.

Huo Zenghai didn't blink as he continued to stare at her. "Too good." he said.

Hua blushed and Zenghai continued, "I was just making sure you're real. I don't know why, but I feel like if I take my eyes of you for a second, you'll disappear."

Xi Hua chuckled as she leaned into his embrace and said, "You look quite dashing yourself, you know. It's a pity we have to be at the event. Do you think we could spare a few minutes?"

Huo Zenghai's eyes lit up with a flame and he leaned to catch Xi Hua's lips with his own.

The two broke apart when Yu Chen suddenly coughed.

"I would really appreciate it if both of you could hold your horses till the end of the night." she said as the two of them turned to look at Chen.

Xi Hua pouted and Huo Zenghai scratched his head. "I think that would be the best." he said with a grin.

Yu Chen shook her head and sighed.

"I have to go get ready now. I have to reach before the event officially starts." she said and turned to walk towards her room.

On the door, Chen turned and looked at Zenghai. She said, "Zenghai, try not to spoil Hua's, dress, make-up or hair? I went through a lot of trouble to get her ready." "And Hua, try to control yourself. You guys have to be at the event on time." she added, turning towards Xi Hua.

Xi Hua: "....."

Huo Zenghai: "....."

Leaving behind the speechless couple, Yu Chen walked into her room.
