Loving couple

Yu Chen shook her head, "I just had a nightmare. And I missed you when I woke up."

Si Xia tried to lighten up the mood, "I wonder what could scare my little devil this much?"

Yu Chen turned around and pushed her hands inside his hoodie and hugged him. She said, "What else could it have been except the thought of losing you."

Si Xia was taken aback for a moment before he also wrapped his hands around Chen and leaned his head on her head. After a while, Si Xia felt Chen's hands go limp. He pulled away and looked at her face.

Xia let out a laugh and shook his head, "I can't believe this girl actually fell asleep."

But he moved Chen into a comfortable position, so that she was hugging him like one might hug a pillow.

Yu Chen woke up but did not want to open her eyes. This bed was strangely comfortable. She snuggled deeper into the bed and inhaled deeply before settling for another nap. But a voice entered her ear, "How about we go down. You don't want your boyfriend to become a statue of ice, do you?"

Yu Chen blinked a few times and a frown appeared on her face as she opened her eyes, hair disheveled and eyes barely opening, looking so cute that Si Xia had immediately planted a kiss on her cheek before she could register what was happening.

Yu Chen smiled as she fully awoke. She snuggled deeper into Si Xia's warm embrace before mumbling, "Five more minutes."

Si Xia: "....What am I? Your mom waking you up for school?"

Yu Chen chuckled. She took out the key to the apartment and gave it to Xia, her indication being that she should be carried back.

Si Xia sighed and shook his head.

He stood up holding Yu Chen princess style in his hands. He looked at the woman he so loved in his hands, snuggling closer to his chest with a smile on her face.

Xia took Chen downstairs and stood in front of the apartment door. He did not want to put Chen down, but he was no superhuman, and could not open the door while holding Chen.

She seemed to understand that. Chen climbed down from Xia's embrace but still hugged him as he opened the door and the two went in.

Once inside, Yu Chen said, "So, hungry? I'll make some breakfast." And immediately got busy.

Si Xia began to help her and the two looked like a very loving couple when Xi Hua woke up. She was sure that she was dreaming.

And more shocking, what was Yu Chen doing up so early?

As she walked forward, Yu Chen greeted her, "Good morning. Breakfast will be ready soon. Go freshen up."

Si Xia also greeted a very confused Xi Hua walking towards the bathroom. After a delicious breakfast, Si Xia headed home to get ready for work and Xi Hua also began to get ready, as Yu Chen cleaned up and sat down with her laptop.

She soon received a call from Si Xia. Yu Chen picked it up and continued typing away on her laptop.
