That day

Yu Chen remembered each and every detail about that day. The day when she talked to him for the first time. She was in the library at the school during after school hours, working on her software for the 99-software competition. When she worked on anything related to computers, she completely lost herself in it. So when she looked up from her laptop and stretched her back, it was really tiring working on the old laptop, how she wished she could have a computer suited for programming or at least a new laptop. But she knew her parents could not afford it so she never asked them.

She looked outside to see that it was already dark and thought that she would be the only one in the library at this time. As she begun to save her work and close her laptop, she noticed another person on a corner table hidden behind a book shelf. It was So Xia, not the normal arrogant and lonely, bit right now he looked kind of frustrated. From time to time he would ruffle his already messy hair which were now looking like a bird's nest, and sometimes he woul furiously tap at his laptop and at other times would sit with his hands on his head.

Then Yu Chen noticed his laptop. "Oh holy cricket!! It was the Apple macbook pro 16. It has a 16 inch IPS Retina Display, 2500*1600 screen resolution, 16GB RAM and 512 GB storage. And that's not all, it's battery performance is excellent, MacBook uses a non removable lithium- polymer battery, best laptop for programmers as it's processing power is amazing, and... " She trailed off as she noticed him staring at her. It was then she realised that she had been speaking out aloud. All Yu Chen wanted to do was dig a hole so that she would at least have somewhere to hide her face.

But then Si Xia started laughing. It was not his usual small smile or forced chuckle, but a real laugh. Then he said,

"Hey, computer encyclopaedia."

Yu Chen, on hearing this, blushed again and muttered, "Hi." Then she began packing up her stuff to leave.

Si Xia: "Hey hey hey, wait up a minute, you seem to know too much about computers. Are you in the computer course too?"

Yu Chen: "Yes."

Si Xia: "Have you done the assignment that is due Friday?"

Yu Chen: "Which assignment? There's a assignment due FRIDAY!?!?!?! I thought it was supposed to be Monday!!"

Si Xia: "No, i am pretty sure it was Friday. You know the one in which we had to develop a small game? Anything of our choice?"

Yu Chen: "??? Game?? Wait a minute, you're a year senior from us, aren't you?"

Si Xia: "You are in junior year? Oh how stupid of me, asking help from a junior."

Yu Chen: "Well I could help you."

Si Xia: "Really? How?"

Yu Chen: "Well as you said, I am a computer encyclopaedia, so I might be able to."

Si Xia: "By the way I'm Si Xia."

Yu Chen: "Yu Chen."

Si Xia: "WHAT!! NO WAY!...."
