damn. when Roland gets serious about his magic materials no stone shall be left unturned. Nothing will stand between him and his floating city.

I can say that, the last two chapters were a pleasant twist. fully expected Roland to just beat them up and be done with it. this new development is a more calculated and political version of Roland. For a magic nerd, he's learning to play the game well.
