Where Am I?

Chapter 1 - Crash Landing

My head was pulsating with each breath. I looked down only to see glass covered in blood. My spaceship was all wreaked. I tried to think back to what had happened, but every time i fixated back to it my head pounded. There was no way I could remember how I got there or what had happened to me. I crawled on my elbows to prevent myself from cuttings, and got out the left side window of the ship. What I thought was the sun got in my eyes, it took a second before i could focus, then I saw it. Two moons shining blue moonlight over the mountains and forest. It was unbelievably pretty, and I took a second to look around, before I realized I had to make camp somewhere safe. Luckily some of my stuff survived in the crash, and i was able to pull out my knife among other things. There was some metal plates that had fallen from the side of the ship I could use. The edges was sharp so I had to be careful. I found an empty cave, and covered the entrance in the metal plates. Then I gathered the dry wood I had found before and made a small fire. Most of the food from the ship had been destroyed in the crash, but i found some rations. It was barely enough for three days, so i had to make a plan. The cave was starting to get warm, my fingers and feet were all frozen, i hadn't noticed before now. I decided to get some rest, and wait for sunlight before exploring. The cave had moist drops on the ceiling, but I managed to find a dry spot. As I rolled over I instantly fell asleep.

I woke up by the sun shining in my face thru the entrance of the cave. It took me a second to realize I was still here. Some part of me still felt like it was all part of a bad dream. I picked up my knife and stuffed some of the rations in my pocket. It was time to get going, and explore where exactly I had landed. As i got out it was very warm, nothing like the day before. I could see various birds in the sky. It made me smile as it reminded me of earth. I walked down a small hill, looking around making sure I remembered where to get back. My first priority was clean water and food. I didn't want to walk too far away from camp either, not knowing what could be out there. To prepare myself I decided to sharpen a spear I could use. I looked back to the mountain one more time, turned around and walked into the dark forest.

Chapter 2 - I'm not alone

There was barely any light getting thru the moist leaves. There was some unknown mushrooms on the forest floor, but i couldn't take the risk eating them. I had not been hunting since my grandfather used to take me when I was younger. It was strange, I could recall memories from far back, and I still remembered my name. But there was one part of my past completely blacked out like there was a eclipse casting shadow over it. I heard the noise of leaves moving to my right. Out of pure instincts I raised my hand and threw the spear as hard I could without making a noise. It was a bird like creature resembling almost an owl. I used my knife to put it out of the pain, and stuffed it in my pocket before moving on. A little bit ahead and I could hear the sound of a waterfall. There was a big river underneath with big stones at the bottom, it was a dead end. I decided to head back even tho I only got a small bird. The way back seemed longer, and it was starting to get darker outside. Finally I could see moonlight coming out of the entrance of the forest. I looked around for my cave, then my heart dropped. There was someone there, i could see by the light coming from it, and voices talking silently. Not knowing what to expect I didn't dare to go in, I just had to leave the stuff behind. I started to move in the opposite direction I just came from, trying to stay within the edge of the forest so no one could see me. I had to find a place to stay the night, as the sun quickly disappeared from the sky. After what seemed like forever of walking I finally found a place, it was so dark, but the blue moonlight shining upon it made it visible. It was an old oak tree with a big round hole, inside it was almost completely hollow. As I was about to gather some wood i remember I had left my matches in the cave, and I had to make due with sleeping on the cold and dirty floor. I chopped some branches and dry leaves, and used them on the floor, pulling some of the leaves over myself. I nearly slept as well this night as the night before, my head was filled with thoughts. So I wasn't really alone here, there were other people. I was positive they were not from earth, as the little words I heard was not something I could recognize.
