32 ✒ Chapter 20 : Pasta Kiss

"WOAH~~~" Khein's eyes widened when Rei showed him the room full with action figures.

"So cool!" Khein commented. He could never take his eyes off the room.

"You can have them if you'd like" Rei said while smiling innocently. Khein's eyes widened even more as he heard Rei.

"You can't be kidding me! You collected them for a long time. Don't be such a show off for giving them to me. Damn you're making me jealous!" Khein said while staring at the latest iron man figure, the limited edition one.

"Actually, I just bought them all at once. I purposely bought them for you." Rei said while playing with his thumb in a circular motion with the other. If Khein could only appreciate how cute Rei has been acting, he would fall for him hardly.

"That's nonsense, why would you spend so much for me just because you wanted to give them to me. I can't accept that." Khein said bravely yet his mind kept shouting, 'Grab them all! Take them home and worship them!'

Rei pouted his lips and made his way to the kitchen. Khein followed him from behind and gasped in awe as he adored how luxurious the psycho guy's house was.

"You sure are a rich kid,  aren't you?" Khein said as Rei went to the U-shaped kitchen.

"I'm not a rich kid. I'm just lucky to be my parent's child." Rei corrected for that was what he believed.

"What do your parents do?" Khein asked curiously. He already assumed that Rei's parents were big shots.

"They both work on an airline." Rei smiled bitterly as if saying he didn't want to talk about 'them'.

"You cook your meals?!" Khein asked in shock. For a guy like Rei to have a talent in cooking.

"Yeah, and your mom makes yours?" Rei said teasingly but in a polite way. He could not just tease Khein freely like how he could tease Ethan effortlessly.

"Well, I hate cooking" Khein reasoned out. The truth, he was a lazyass ever since he was born and he would not want to learn the chores at home. He would definitely choose lounging around over learning all the household chores.

"Yeah, but you eat a lot" Rei said while chopping the vegetables. Khein just watched him do the whole process while the smell of the food tickled his nose.

"I can even cook for you everyday" Rei said while smiling and he meant it.

"No thanks, I got my mom" Khein said sarcastically. After a few minutes, the food was served. Khein took a spoonful of vegetables and a twirl of pasta in his mouth. He could say that Rei cooked better than his mom, but he wouldn't admit it.

"Mmm" Khein hummed as he enjoyed eating the pasta, Rei was just staring at him constantly. The psycho guy was not moving his spoon even a bit as he gulped watching Khein ate his food. There was a sauce on the side of Khein's mouth and Rei was staring at it uncontrollably. Rei's lips parted as he stared at the rebel guy in a defenseless position. Khein was lured by the taste of the pasta that he didn't notice there was a hungry beast staring at him and was ready to ravish him anytime soon.

"I think I should find a girlfriend who can cook like you-hmp!" The next thing that happened, Khein was not able to finish what he has to say. Rei's lips stopped Khein's own from speaking. Khein's eyes widened as he realized that Rei was kissing him on the lips with still a pasta inside his mouth. Khein felt Rei's tongue slipped inside his mouth as he closed his eyes shut. His mind was spinning and his heart was beating rapidly. He couldn't think properly as Rei started dipping his mouth for a better kiss. There was a moment of confusion which made the two of them froze in shock. Khein immediately pushed Rei away and frowned. His face was as red as tomato as he immediately stood up and glared at Rei. Rei kept his head low as he felt the disgusted look of Khein towards him. Rei stared at the floor blankly as his mind kept shouting, 'You made the wrong move. Now you're finished!'

"Disgusting" Khein said bitterly as he looked down at Rei who was bowing his head steadily.

"Don't ever come near me again, you homo" Khein said with an angry tone as he quickly walked out of the house before Rei could do anything stupid again. Rei was left unmoved from his chair as he heard Khein's footsteps fading away. A cloudy eyes started to pour the heavy rain and Rei clutched the side of his hair. He cried so hard that his lips bled because he bit it badly. He was hurt and confused. He wanted to make himself believe that he could still make it up to Khein again just like before. He could still play innocent and tempt Khein again. But the word that came out from Khein's mouth took away all the courage for Rei to try again.

"Disgusting"

"You homo"

Rei was confused. He could just accept the fact that Khein would never like him back. But there was a glimpse of hope which made Rei confused. If Khein didn't want him around, why did he let him? If Khein didn't like him, why did he accept all 'those' things? If Khein didn't like him, why did he made his way towards his house? If Khein didn't like him, why did he wanted Rei to stay away from Ethan?

If Khein didn't like him...

"Why did you kiss me back?" Rei asked himself as he touched his lips. What made him confused was their kiss. Rei was about pull back when he suddenly felt Khein kissed him back earlier. When he kissed the rebel guy, Khein created an entrance which made Rei slipped his tongue inside his mouth easily. Their tongues were fighting for the pasta inside their mouths for seconds. Khein even bit Rei's tongue softly, and thats when he realized that he was kissing Rei back. Rei thought it was perfect. He thought he could continue kissing Khein, but it was just his fantasies. Khein then pushed him away and started storming out the house.

Rei thought this time he's finished.

Khein was currently lying on his bed with his face still as red as a tomato. His mother thought he was sick so she let him stay in his room directly. Khein was covering his eyes with his arm as his lips were unconsciously vibrating. He could still feel Rei's lips on his. The taste of the pasta inside his mouth and Rei's tongue. The rapid beating of his heart and his trembling feet. He could never forget all of it. And he would never be able to forget all of it because that was his first kiss.

"Stupid psycho!" Khein cursed loudly without minding his mom might hear him. He got lost in thought as he asked himself,

"Why did I kiss him back?"
