Grandpa Sweet Fist is a fun series taking on the perspective of a villain who just got released from prison after twenty years. He summons a system, and the plot starts from there! There is some action, and I love the world background. The various abilities and skill sets people can use are interesting. The MC himself is a man over fifty who slept around a bunch in his youth without using protection and now has kids and grandkids in the world. He's a friendly guy that keeps his worth and is actually a good guy. He used to do petty crime, and now he wants to protect his family. Although he has the title of a "villain," things changed dramatically since he was on the streets, and villains aren't always evil or bad guys anymore. The MC develops relationships with his family members, and I've been cheering for them. I'm looking forward to meeting more of them. He and side characters have depth and their own motivations and interests. The writing quality is quite good. The introduction are a bit jarring in how they were set up, but everything becomes clearer after the first several chapters. The biggest weakness in the writing is the lack of description. Races, appearances, costumes, etc. are often completely absent. Even thirty-nine chapters in, the MC's appearance has been described very little. He's an old man with tattoos. Adding imagery would bring up the quality pretty dramatically. Although this series is a natural set-up for gags and comedy, funny parts are a bit slow to start. This series is worth checking out, and I plan to keep reading it. Sweet dreams!
