.........sigh.......... Did we really need anymore reasons to not like ciri's character or actions? I really want to like ciri, since the author is dead set on having her be the second MC in this story. But I find that if you genuinely like the MC or have empathy for him then you start to become resentful/annoyed of ciri for how she acts.
Ok.. I get that Ciri is kind of our MC's Kryptonite(?) in this story.. well all his companions are in a way I guess. I figured mr Glass would pull something eventually, if for no other reason than to be entertained by something Reima would do in response. But now Ciri is gonna be a damsel? ooof! I really hope Author isn't going to make our MC suddenly unable to do anything to save her from this and have Ciri in another sceme... well at least not for very long. And if this is the case I expect Ciri to come out of this a lot stronger than she currently is. Having an MC that can handle all the major threats is pretty cool yes. But he's got an entire city of powerful "people" that can take over countries or potentially even worlds that he never really puts to use? I get that Mr. O'Dimm is a pretty powerful being. I get that Ciri will probably be used as her ancestor was. She'll either be used to make Glass more powerful or as a way to keep Reima at bay in some way as his power seems to just keep climbing. Either way, it would be nice to not have our MC's main lady be something that can just be used like this. It would be nice if even trying this was more dangerous, not just because of Rei but because of who they're trying to enslave Last things before I end my rant. It is a little annoying that O'Dimm seems to be able to set all the rules for his "contracts" to the point of ridiculousness, though technically it makes sense. I get I'm a biased because he's acting against a character I like.. it's still annoying lol.
