Rescue Mission

"Here, this should be a decent spot" Siverra said as he pointed at a direction near the Kingdom. Gin nodded and they arrived to the spot soon after.

"What about stealth?" Gin asked confusedly

"Oh that? Just watch" Siverra started to form an orb in his hands and slowly it started to become invisible, he set it over an area and the spot around them couldn't be seen!

"This will also protect us when we're studying the guard's times!" Siverra shouted gleefully

'Space magic! Siverra truly is a interesting existence..' Gin was shocked but kept it hidden well.

"The Gorilla will be kept in a separate area.. I have disguised both his and my mana so we can't be traced easily. Yours was mostly absorbed physically so I don't need to worry about it too much." Siverra said, he then used his magic to create 2 holes in the ground, on one he made it large and had the gorilla go in. He then covered the hole with a layer of grass and left small holes.

He did the same for his spot but it was much bigger so it could fit for a temporary base, underground he connected these two spots.

"And just like that, we have a base. You know after all this time I think I'm finally beginning to trust the kingdom people. " Siverra said looking disconnected and emotionless. Gin just looked at him.

"You.. didn't trust us, or them before?" Gin was shocked, he'd helped him thus far and so have they! They've even died for his cause! But he never truly trusted them..

Siverra saw Gin's change of expression and thought to himself

'I'll probably keep things to myself still.. looks like it wasn't a good idea to tell him. Why am I even telling him my emotions?'

"Let's begin watching the guard's now that we have the base done" Gin changed the conversation but was bitter in his heart.

"Yeah.." Siverra agreed and teleported Gin and himself to the walls after cloaking themselves, Siverra slightly regrets becoming a human.

"You know.. I forgive you." Gin said telepathically to Siverra

Siverra's heart froze and his blood started pumping.

'Do I really want forgiveness?'

"I get how it must be for you.. you just sent us through then sped up time.. but for us. We waited for you, because we trusted you. You provided shelter, food, clothing, strength. We may not be much to you, but to us you're.. you're our god!" Gin said with passion, he wanted Siverra to be more open.

"I see. I'll start.. to try to trust. It's just hard.. I didn't feel before." Siverra tried to explain but then stopped himself. Gin probably would never understand.

"Oh, looks like we're reaching the jail!" Gin said suddenly

Siverra looked and noticed it was true, he was surprised how fast they got there while talking to each other.

'Speaking.. to these people.. isn't that bad. Maybe I should start treating them more like friends.. rather than tools.' Siverra was in deep thought, he felt, a little more whole. It was as if the endless void inside his chest became just a bit smaller. He smiled, he thought of his Crocoplant and all it had done for him, he thought of Ran, he thought of Jeran. He.. thought of the women when he was a skeleton..

'Why do I care about her?' He was extremely confused.

"Let's go in! We have to see their current conditions!" Gin suddenly shouted

"Right.." Siverra quickly followed in.

When they entered the both of them immediately stopped for a few seconds. Their hearts sunk.

Some of the cultivators were tied up and were being tortured in their cells, some having mana and organs being extracted with horrific screams, there was immense gore. Luckily Ran and the rest were still okay, but these people bled for him!

"These monsters.." Gin simply said as he started to cry. He covered his mouth and nose from the immense odor coming from the few dead cultivators.

"I'm.. I'm going to wipe out this Kingdom!" Siverra promised to himself that the kingdom would never have a place in his world!
