Escape from Hell (324 Words)

1st test, escape from your punishment in hell. You've been imprisoned in the ninth layer of hell, the circle of Denial, bound by a single spiked metal chain drenched in your own blood you hang in absolute darkness, there is no light, there is no sound, there is no taste, there is only pain and the perpetual smell of your own blood dripping into the infinite darkness below.

You need to free yourself from the chains and make sure you don't fall, then climb the chain for total of six hundred-sixty-six years until you reach the abyssal dome from which your own and the chains of others damned to the ninth layer hang from.

Exiting the abyssal dome, you'll find yourself in the eighth layer of hell, the circle of Sloth, a white desert with dried up human husks laying all around, covered in sand and almost buried, there is something all the husks have in common, their eyes all show perfect clarity cursed with eternal sanity and a body that refuses to move with the goal of salvation in the form of golden moths of light lazily flaying all around the desert.

While the moths of light represent salvation to the sinners of the eighth layer, as if they manage to touch one of these moths they will be sent to the place they belong, which in their case would be the wheel of reincarnation as they have repent and are ready to move on, but in your case, it would be the chained up at the bottom of the gaping void of the ninth layer as you have not repent yet.

Using the human husks to ward yourself against the moths which will start to gather around you in greater numbers the longer you stay on that layer.
