WHY WOULD SHE KISS HIM BACK IF SHE DIDN'T LIKE HIS KISS?

Taking the pen from him, she signed on the empty space below the clauses.

She felt complicated feelings while signing the contract. She only hoped that everything would go as per her plan.

"Here." She gave him the contract back, while she put the pen back in the pen stand.

Emmett took the contract and kept it on the space beside him.

"Aren't you going to check whether or not I have correctly signed? I may have fooled you by doing someone else's sign."

Emmett smiled at that, "Why will I need to check it when I have full faith in my girlfriend?"

Jennifer's heart skipped a bit. She also felt somewhat guilty.

He said that he trusted her but she wasn't sure if he would say this in the future. Because she felt like she would break his trust in the future.

Even if they were in a fake relationship and although she knew that the trust matter wasn't something to take seriously, she still couldn't help but feel guilty.

She coughed and said, "Let's go back to the main topic. Why did you umm....kiss me in your room?"

She felt somewhat awkward and embarrassed saying this.

Emmett chuckled. He knew that they had to talk about this and he was already prepared with an answer, "Are you sure I was the only one who enjoyed the kiss? I mean didn't you also kiss me back, huh?"

Jennifer's face flushed in the darker shade of red.

'Why is this man so shameless!!'

She berated him in her mind. It was right that she was also the one who had kissed him back.

But how can he just say that she enjoyed his kiss??

'Kissing him back and enjoying his kiss are totally two different matters.'

Even though she had thought this, she herself was finding it a little hard to agree to her thought.

It didn't make any sense.

Why would she kiss him back if she didn't like his kiss?

She was speechless. She had verbal arguments with many people and she hadn't lost any but when it came to this man, he knew pretty well how to make her speechless.

She just couldn't argue with him.

But she still fought on one point, "But why did you kiss me in the first place? Aren't you a...."

Emmett didn't let her complete the sentence and interrupted her, "I just wanted to know to learn kissing. Is it wrong? And also you are my girlfriend so I don't find it wrong to kiss you. Also this would probably help me in the future to wash away my family's doubts."

He knew very well that she was going to say, "Aren't you a gay?" And if she did that he would need to answer her.

He wasn't ready to tell her this soon. Her mistaking him as gay was best for him. If she by chance comes to know that he isn't a gay in those three months of their contract then the contract would be considered invalid as it would be basically made on a lie.

She would then be able to go away from him whenever she would want. And this was not the outcome he wanted.

He wanted to make her fall in love with him and before that he wanted to break away the wall which she had built around her heart.

He wanted to help her come out of her fears.

Most importantly he wanted to bring back that girl he met two years back.

Hence he decided to lie. Maybe she would be angry with him in the future if she comes to know about his deceit. But he wouldn't mind because by that time he would have already made her his wife.
