Chapter 10: The Chase

Kitty and Ethan stand at the edge of the cliff and looked down. Ethan crouches down and whistled. "So do you think she's dead?" Kitty smacked him behind the head and glared at him. Ethan winced and rubbed the back of his head, "OK dumb question. Where do you think she's going?"

Kitty spoke, "Since your so curious little brother why don't we find out?" She then step off the cliff and Ethan followed.

Rose landed and absorbed the impact with the sole of her feet. She stood up and looked up to see Kitty and Ethan where following. Rose then took off running to her destination. Ethan and Kitty soon landed and once they figured out what direction she went they followed suite. Rose was running until Kitty appeared right in front of her.

Kitty said, "Oh Rose, Where do you think your going?" Before Rose could dodge Kitty slashed her right right arm. Rose stumbled backward and before she could move Ethan came behind her and slashed across her back. Rose fell forward and groan in pain. Ethan kicked Rose in the stomach but before his foot touch her stomach she quickly grab his foot and twisted it causing Ethan to twist and fall on his stomach and hands. Rose pushed herself off the ground and as she stood up Kitty came at her. Rose dodge to the side from Kitty attack. Rose found an opening and grabbed the front of Kitty's shirt and threw her over her head. Kitty gasped as the wind got knocked out of her. Rose took this chance to keep running. Ethan ran to Kitty and asked, "Are you OK?"

Kitty growled, "How dare that little brat make a fool out of me!" She grabbed Ethan's hand, got up and took off running after Rose with Ethan. They see Rose standing in the middle of a clearing waiting for them. They step into the clearing and look around to realized where they are. Kitty laughed.

"This is fitting. Where it all started, now it will all end." Kitty said as she got into her battle stance. Ethan also got into his battle stance. Rose got into her stance and spoke, "Yes. It will all end here." They charge at each other. As their swords clash, they growled at each other. "Give up already! Its useless." Kitty said annoyed. Kitty finally was able to push Rose back than raises her sword up high and starts to spin it. A blue shadow shaped like a wolf wraps around the blade and she yells, "Wolf Twister!" The wolf flew off the blade, as it was in the air it was twisting until it build up speed, then came to strike Rose.

Rose raised her sword as yelled, "Reflect!" A white shadow wolf stood in front of Rose and open its mouth. It swallowed Kitty's attack and then spite it back at Kitty. The wolf return to the blade. Kitty thought, "Shit!" Ethan stands in front of Kitty and holds out his spear.

"Protect!" Ethan said. The spear turned into a black mist surrounding both of them. Once the attack hit the mist it quickly disappear.

Kitty mutters, "Show off." Ethan huffed, "Your welcome. And you say I'm the one who rushes into battle." The mist unwrap itself from Kitty and completely wrapped around Ethan and disappeared. Rose became alarm and scan her surroundings. Kitty charge at Rose and spoke, "You shouldn't take your eyes off your enemy." Rose just growled. As they clashed Rose felt a killing intent behind her and moved to the side to see Ethan spear coming down and clashed with Kitty sword. Rose distance herself from them and panted.

Ethan growled, "It seems like we need to stop holding back." Rose just laughed, "Whatever helps you sleep at night. Don't hold back on my account."
