1 The Loss
I was burning with high determination… this is the day… it's finally the day I will rid the world of it's greatest plague!
To give you a little context, I'm the son of Xavier Blues, one of the greatest heroes that ever lived, or even the greatest. He is the leader of A.I.M, a team made of people with "superpowers" that was founded some centuries ago, to establish peace and order.
The current society is different from what it was hundreds of years ago. A meteor collided with the earth, and almost killed all life on it, but strangely, the life that survived, gained different properties, different "powers". Humans were no exceptions, 90% of the remaining humans after the "Cataclysm" received "powers" as you could see into movies or comic books. The power to defy gravity, "Flight", the power to control things with the power of the mind, "Telekinesis", the power to generate and control fire, "Pyrokinesis", and the list continues… The offsprings of these "Super-Powered" humans also inherited the "Power-Gene", or P-Gene, from their parents, so they also developed powers. So a modern society that consisted of super-powered individuals was born…
My name is Cole Blues, a 20 years old male, the son of Xavier Blues, and also the strongest Villain mankind is facing today.
"Give it up father, you have lost!" I exclaimed while I looked down at my Father who stood at my feet level, on its knees….
"I….I beg you son… please..stop.." My father's words, full of guilt didn't even bulge me.
"You know… you could have avoided this situation if you stopped your charade of playing the "Hero" a long time ago when I saw through your true colors"
As I stood beside my Father, I increased the amount of pressure that is pinning him to the ground
Or better said, I increased the gravity around my "domain"
Xavier was pushed to the ground instantly, he couldn't even lift his face, but even if he could, he would only see his team members killed in cold blood.
"Hmph, it's funny, all of this time, you were my inspiration, you were my ideal in life, you gave me a goal to achieve, to become the greatest hero!" I shouted
"But, you destroyed all of this… when I found the real you ,I found the real reason you are even a''Hero`.''
"All of this…you...A.I.M, was just a charade, you were just a company that just used the term "Hero", so you can just earn money. In the open, you were a person whose smile brightened the lives of many, just your name could make a criminal piss his pants, but.."
I slightly chuckle
"In the back of everyone, you were just like the criminals you chased, you were sexual abusers, drug addicts, thieves and even worse… murderers."
"I dedicated all of my life, acquiring different powers, and becoming stronger… so I can finally get rid of you, "Heroes", or better said, the lowest thrash!"
"Son…. I'm sorry-" Just as Xavier wanted to utter another word, his face got smacked harder into the ground, the gravity was increased.
"SILENCE!, YOU FOOL!"
"Well, hmph, I think It's enough talking, I will destroy you right now, together with this whole building"
"Pyrokinesis!" With just a thought, I changed my aura into a shape that mimicked the flames of a fire, and my hand was engulfed in flames, but as I did that, the force of gravity diapered.
Xavier tried to get up now, as the force that pinned him to the ground was gone, but he couldn't, he was too broken, both mentally and physically…
"What...what a monster ...how could I have created a monster like that…" Xavier looked at Cole, whose evil smirk frightened him further.
" DIE FATHER!'" With a flick of my fingers, a powerful stream of fire flew from my hand straight at my father's head, but as I did that, something strange happened… a portal appeared right in front of my father.
The fire was absorbed into the portal
"Hmph...to think you will come here ...big brother…"
"Cole, it's too late for apologies, I'm sorry for what I'm about to do, but I have no choice, Humanity will end if I let you live in this world!"
'What, Humanity will end if I live in this world?'
"What the fuck you are saying Sco-" I couldn't finish my sentence, as a portal was created right under my feet…
The force of attraction was too strong… I tried to change my aura, but it was too late, I was absorbed in…
"I'm sorry brother... I hope you can live on.." Scott, the brother of Cole, was looking at his portal, which was slowly closing.
"No..no… not right now, I was so close, so close to ending the world's greatest plague…"
"THAT BASTARD!!!!" I roared into the blue space around me.
"How cold that stupid brother, create a portal so strong.."
"Anyway, I will teleport again to their location...but wait a second… where is this portal taking me, his range was limited to only 100 Kilometers, even so… why does it take so long?"
