"Hmph... I'll teach both of you. You can choose to decline but know that if you do you will suffer some light punishments," Escanor lamented.

"The choice is yours," He continued.

"I accept," Tom instantly accepted with no hesitation.

"I... I also accept," Hagrid replied a bit hesitant but willing to see everything play out.

"Good, very good," Escanor smiled under his helmet before he summoned a portal made of literal fire. Easily making anyone hesitant to enter and mistake it for a portal to hell.

"This here is a portal which burns all defects of the body and mind. You two have quite the origin story. May this help perfect both of you. Note the travel will be... A painful one. As of the state of things both of your mortally bodies disgust me. If I were to compare your body to mine it would be like comparing a diamond to a shit stain on the floor. When you exit through this I will educate you on your origins as to beat another you must first know yourself," Escanor stated as entered through the fiery portal full enveloping him.

Hagrid looking at Tom quickly ate his popcorn before hesitantly walking towards the portal.

"Don't be such a wuss Hagrid," Tom spat before diving head in.

"I hope dad doesn't get angry," Hagrid mumbled as he ran towards the portal. it felt the fire coarse through his veins as he started to cruck back and forth in pain as his body tensed and spasmed in pain. Feeling what felt like hours he somehow was ejected out of the portal. On his back, he looked around only to see an unconscious Tom.

"Now that you are here get up and stand straight." Escanor smiled as he ordered both of them.

"Unconscious? Ah, Yeah, a love potion." Escanour muttered before grabbing a bucket of water and drenching Tom as he coughed awake.

"What in Merlin was that portal," Tom muttered as he stood up this time feels different. He felt warm for the time. His mindscape felt warm. Gone was the cold darkness but was replaced with warm autumn.

"Up with you two I don't need weaklings for students we will be meeting up with the others. Unlike the other chosen four you will be taught extra by me. Take this as a blessing for being in my presence," Escanor stated as he dropped two rusty swords in front of them.

"These will be your blade for the term. I have noted the date. Every day you will meet me after you have completed your classes for the day will return here. This is my personal arena. The others have been informed as well. To return here mutter the phrase "Praise the sun" and you will be brought forth to my domain. If you want to exit mutter the same phrase again." Escanor stated.

"Now first on the training schedule, the mind. A powerful yet fragile thing. Many have sought to train it and fill it to the brim before ultimately forgetting half of it. It has been hinted from your elders that there are spells that help your mind to protect it from invaders as well as invading others. I will first teach you this. A sharp mind will keep the body active while an active body will keep the mind sharp. Fail to seize one and you either become a fragile genius or a mindless piece of mass." Escanor preached.

"To first learn Occlumency the magic of protecting one's minds you must first enter your mindscape. This is where your memories lurk. There are four main ways there is to defend with the use of Occulumency. The first is pure mental strength, the second is deception with false memories, the third is blanking your mind of emotion and the last is my favorite organized mental assault. Similar to the first but more precise and deadly. I will teach you the third and fourth, the first, and the second will be taught later. The first can only be trained through a mental attack by another. The second is created through your imagination. Now you may be wondering why I am teaching this now but not later is because I do not like my student's privacy to invade. Know you now represent me and are now an extension of my will. There will be no mercy for those who try to stand in my way," I stated.

"You both maybe my students but don't let that get to your heads. Else you'' lose em," Escanor warned.

"Now to clear your mind is to think of nothing, easier said than done. What I want you to do is think of one thing you hold dear right now. I will do the rest," Escanor continued.

Hagrid first thought of his mother and father. Both people he cared about. Although his mother left he understood. His father had explained after all. Instead of hating his mother, he chose to understand and accept it. Why get angry over something you had no choice of controlling? A giant in human society? No way, but instead of the motherly love he would have gotten was instead replaced by his fathers. He loved his father dearly and wished he would continue to stay healthy for as long as he could. Tears now going down his cheeks. He was going to make him proud like he always did. Unknown his mind started to go blank and his emotions subsided as his mind and emotion dulled replaced with the emotion of pure calmness as it flooded over him.

Tom thinking could never think of one thing his mind wandered as it always did and could not stick to one thing. Darting through many ideas he just could land on one until he thought of his teacher. Never in his dream would he have thought to meet his hero. Unlike the heroes, of before Escanor truly is what he wanted. Absolute power and authority as well as being immortal how could he not want to be like him? Though just like how he was depicted in his book he was ruthless, blunt, and possessive. The type of person he aspired to be.

Hagrid and Tom now meditating went into deep thought as they started to meditate while Escanor only read a book his mind wandering aswell.

"Hmm is this what it feels like to have children..." Escanor muttered.
