In Athens, the fight raged on between the different vampire factions and the Deviants with Selene in the middle of it all. After having a bit of fun burning a few here and there, she stopped to really take the moment in, basking in the glow of victory. Unmoved by those around as they gave her a wide berth, none brave enough to disturb her.

Toro in particular was struggling with those same feelings for the first time in his life, finding himself now alone and unsure of what to do next.

That's when he spotted three orange individuals and a big green deviant monster besieged on all sides.

Something in him snapped seeing a turncoat among his rank, a lab-bred deviant weapon turned traitor.

He almost couldn't believe it at first, but there it was helping the enemy, and this infuriated him to no end. They already lost so much and the war was already taking a far heavier toll than ever due to this unexpected enemy, the last thing they needed was infighting.

How dare it even think of biting the hand that fed it, Toro fumed, his face etched with fury.

Lowering his head, he charged straight through the conflict, bulldozing down all in his way, allies and enemies alike.

Meanwhile, the 3 orange individuals, Sigyn, Lydia, Nina, and Grani fought off ravenous vampires and angry deviants everywhere they went.

Sigyn's forearms wrapped in vines, extending outwards, past her hands as long whips, was swatting away and battering any who got close. Occasionally dropping seeds on the fallen, which quickly grew roots piercing those she's defeated.

Nina continuously pulled her bowstring, nailing many in the head, unable to miss in the sea of bodies surrounding them while a joyful Lydia not nearly as accurate also managed to land every shot with her new energy blaster.

Grani the bodyguard made sure to take care of any that slipped through or behind them. Acting as a wall of green scales that nothing could pass as claws sliced and diced them, letting the girls continue their fight with little worry, allowing his mistress to safely gain experience.

He was the first to spot the deviant Bullman, doing a double-take to make sure it wasn't another Minotaur.

No time to meet his charge, Grani called out,- "Mistress!" Gently moving Sigyn out of harm's way as he took the blow head-on. Lifted off his feet as Toro crashed into him, carrying him away from the others.

Sigyn yelled,- "Grani!" as she sent out her vines to catch hold of them, only to instantly snap.

An arrow pierced the deviant sneaking up on her as Nina ran over,- "Sigyn, he'll be fine, don't lower your guard."

"Right, Thanks," Sigyn quickly said turning her attention back to the fight at hand.

Sensing an opportunity with the green giant gone, many enemies pushed hard to reach them as Sigyn tried her best to keep them back, swinging wildly.

Pressure mounting, Lydia broke out her scream, blasting enough away to give a bit of breathing room and Sigyn time to throw seeds, putting walls of vegetation between them.

Losing sight of his mistress, Grani roared angrily as his back smashed through the rubble by this half minotaur deviant that he could crush with ease if he didn't promise to keep his size small.

Growing just enough for his feet to regain traction, Grani stuck his feet into the ground and clawed into the bull man's back, turning his red suit a couple of shades darker.

Toro cried out, bucking his head up, knocking Grani back as he took a moment to view this traitor up close,- "How dare you bite the hand that fed you! We gave you everything! We created you! And this is how you repay us? But what can one expect from a dumb lab bred beast," he spat.

"See if I let Taras create any more of you!" He shouted rushing Grani before he could get a word in, completely unaware that Grani could even think or speak for himself. Only wanting to vent all his built-up frustrations on someone he wasn't afraid of.

Back at the temple, Thoeirc was a bit peeved about Thena throwing Metabo off the acropolis to the city below.

Theoric jumped into the air, getting ready to fly,- "Come on, we have to find that 4 arms deviant and finish him."

"Why?" Asked Thena nonchalantly,- "He's gone now, let him go do whatever it is he wants, it's no longer our problem,"

Theoric slowly turned around,- "Look, I know you have your circumstances, but I'd appreciate a bit of help, I have people I care about down there, and you just threw him straight towards them," he said trying to maintain his composure.

She raised an eyebrow behind the mask,- "Why would you leave the people you care about alone in a war-torn city?"

Hearing the accusation in her voice, Theoric got a little heated,- "They wanted the experience to prove themselves, so I gave it to them knowing I could be there in a moment's notice to help if they need it, plus they have ways to escape even without me," he said, unsure if he was trying to convince her or himself.

Sigyn did need to go through a bit of difficulty if she wished to be by his side in battle, but he was afraid he wouldn't be to stop himself from interfering should he see her suffering. Perhaps it was a mistake to leave if he also needed the experience of having her by his side.

After a small awkward silence,- "You know what, I don't know what I was thinking, I don't need you, you're right this is my problem," said Theoric coldly as he turns to leave, refusing to admit any wrongdoing on his part.

Thena, for some reason, felt hurt by those words as she called out,- "Wait..." She flys up next to him, apologizing,- "...I'm sorry, this is my fault, I'll give you what help I can."

Theoric grins, making her heart flutter,- "Thanks, let's go."

Heading straight for the girls, Theoric ignores everything else, including a bloody clawed Grani standing over a corpse of what looked like another minotaur. Reminding himself to punish the little cretin for not being by Sigyn and the girl's side.

Even without the rings leading him, it was easy to find them, the one spot on the battlefield with any plant life.

Watching Sigyn shooting her vine arms underground, causing the ground to tremble seconds before bursting with numerous roots underneath the surrounding enemies. Flinging many away while grabbing and slamming many more before strangling a few here and there when she wasn't skewering them.

While Nina and Lydia closely watched her flanks, shooting everyone they could.

Theoric chuckled happily seeing Sigyn rising to the occasion- "That's my girl, I know you already met, but let me reintroduce you, last time was under extenuating circumstances."

"Sure!" Said Thena thinking about how she really didn't interact with them, reflecting a bit on how isolated and standoffish she's become.

Theoric swooped down, sending a wave of energy swords to clear the area as each of the three girls looked up excitedly knowing who arrived.

"Theo!"

Their happy reunion was cut short however when a bright light goes off and then Thena froze.

Theoric growled through clenched teeth,- "Zeus!" Staring at the evilest and most powerful Olympian.

The escaping Kro met back up with Metabo in the city ruins and headed for the location he believes Nicodemus to be, only to find Selene standing there.

Before he has time to think any more about it, a blinding light appears over the sea in the far distance.

When it stops, Selene comes out of her stupor and looks over sensing the approaching god as her form begins to melt into the darkness disappearing.

A moment later in a flash of lightning Zeus appeared.

Eye's snapping to Zeus, Kro began to sweat when their eyes meet, not realizing that Zeus's focus was on Metabo right next to him.

"There you are," said Zeus casually.

A deep-seated fear took hold of him when he heard those words. Not even thinking about whether or not Metabo was even ready to take on someone like Zeus, Kro shouted,- "Metabo, attack! Defend me!"
