2 First Target - First Step

Two weeks after his woke up from the coma, James finally stay in this residence after his discharged from the hospital. Actually, he want to be discharged earlier but his family insisted that he has to be monitored until it was 200 % sure there's nothing wrong with him. Because of this he once again felt blessed by how he loved by his family, almost to the point of crying.

And now here he is, in one of the so many properties his family own.

His father, Rupert Murdoch actually rarely stayed in the United States. As a media mogul and as a major shareholder of News Corporation he is still more focus in Australia and UK market, even though he already officially became a U.S citizen last year. As for his mother Anna Maria Murdoch was a former reporter for one of his father's subsidiary newspaper and then they got married in 1967. By their marriage born Elizabeth, Lachland, and James himself. Elizabeth was born in 1968, she will be 17 this year and going to college next year. His older brother, Lachland was born in 1971 and just one year older than him, he is still in high school right now. Although The Murdoch family already have business in America such as New York Post and the behemoth 20th Century Fox film studio but because of Rupert Murdoch's focus and obsession this time concentrated in the expansion of his TV Network and in addition in the U.S side this time there are still strict regulations on national TV Network which forbid mergers with other media, Rupert Murdoch has no choice but to focus more in Australia and U.K market and temporary neglect the development of his business here. Thinking about his father, James can't help but sighed.

" hah, If only my old man can realize how extreme the potential of movie industry will be, he maybe try to have more focus here. Well, it's fine anyway. There is still me and my other memories to cope and "eat" everything here and it should be fun to see his expression on later days after he missed this big gold mine. " James couldn't help but recall those two characters from the two light novels about hollywood he once read in his leisure time in his alternate life. That's why I highly doubted there'll will be someone who can realize this Marvel Comics group potential. Even The New World Entertainment Studio was sold to Ron Perelman The Wall Street sniper for only just about 82.5 Million USD in 1989 and that even including this Marvel Comics Group. How cheap was that for something that has billions of dollars potential years later. This can proof how short-sighted people can be. So I am confident I can win this asset with just 4 million USD. So, the next task is how to convince my old man to lend me that amount of money. He will almost likely beat me to death if suddenly I asked for 4 million USD not to mention 10 million USD. And even if my old man somehow agree, my age limit will prohibit me to participate in bid for this "gold mine". " Ok, since the first target has already been confirmed now I have to make The First Step to enter the Hollywood. "

James aware that before the information Era in the late 90's and 2000's, people either from U.S or other countries will always synonimized American dream with Hollywood. American Dream is Hollywood, and vice versa. How to enter Hollywood is no problem for James, the problem is.

James thought that movie is really nothing special but the idea behind it is really innovative and marvelous. James can't help but muttered.

Just like that James finally decide to enter Hollywood with his first original-piracy work : HOME ALONE.
