26 Days with Garp part 7

Man... I love this world. Ive spent my time meditating with my swords, swimming, watching the girls do Yoga with Tsuru (Oh... One Piece has Yoga... 👌👌), Fighting off attackers, or fishing. The girls now sleep with me on a daily bases, they even brought Reiju into the mix. I'm not going to argue though... its relaxing to have them around as I go to sleep. Reiju has successfully joined the group, she spars with Astro and has started to show signs of her poison powers awakening. She slipped mid spar with Astro and punched the boat in frustration... she ended up corroding a tiny finger sized hole in the ground. She has no clue how to control it but that's ok... We have time. We have finally returned to the Redline so it's time for my revenge... but first, I need to prepare.

Nova: Ok everyone, time to gather our brains and get revenge...

Monet, I dont know what he looks like so I need you to point them out...

Milk, I'll need you to keep them in your sights at all times

Astro, ill need a distraction to keep the Marines off my back

Reiju, wheres the most painful place on the body minus the family jewels...

Reiju: Hold your horses... what are you talking about?

Nova: My greatest enemy to date works close by... they did unspeakable evil to me. They must pay for it.

Reiju: What did this guy do? Kill your ... cant be your father or mother... WHAT DID THEY EXACTLY DO?!

Nova: HE CUT UP MY BATHROBE!!!

Reiju: ...

Astro: ...

Milk: ...

Monet: ...

Nova: Whats with your blank looks...

.

Monet: Your still angry at that doctor?

Milk: Are you kidding me?

Astro: Your grudge is pointless Nova...

Reiju: Are you a kid?

Tsuru: What are you whispering about kiddo?

.

Tsuru showed up behind me like a ghost. She made no noise and no one laid eyes on her till she spoke. I jumped like a frog and yelped like a dog who's tail was stepped on...

.

Nova: HOLY CRAP GRANDMA!! ARE YOU A GHOST?!

.

Tsuru: Would it kill you to be respectful to your elders kid?

Nova: Mostlikely... I dont wanna risk it so... Did you kick the bucket grandma?

Tsuru: ... you tell me?

.

Tsuru's hand turned black and she hit the top of my head. Her hit sent waves of pain echoing throughout my body. Somehow... everything from my hair to my toes hurts like hell...

.

Nova: HOLY SWEET MOTHER OF WHAT THE HELL!! DAMN YOU GHOST GRANDNA!! ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE ME A GHOST TOO?!!

.

Tsuru: ... you want another hit?

Nova: No thanks. I'm good...

.

I started to tell her about the evil doctor who destroyed my bathrobe and my plans to avenge it.

.

Tsuru: Are you kidding me kid? It was just a bathrobe... it sounds like he helped you by fixing your arms...

Nova: WERE YOU LISTENING?! THAT VILLAIN DESTROYED MY ROBE!!

Tsuru: Why dont you ask the Marines to press charges to get the doctor arrested?

Nova: ... think that would work?

Everyone: HELL NO!

Nova: Then I'll take the law into my own hands...

.

Tsuru: Well... with us arriving at the North Blue, I'll be getting on my own battle ship. I've got a man I need to catch so i cant watch Garp and make sure he doesnt go overboard with his nonsense.

Nova: No worries, we can take care of ourselves... We have our own ship over on the North Blue. Thanks for teaching the girls Yoga.

.

Tsuru: I've already told you... it's called Marine Standered Flexibility and Health Enhancement Routine...

.

Nova: Yeah... I'm going to call it Yoga... your name is a mouthful.

.

We followed Garp and got off the boat at the dock. The girls waved to Tsuru before she left with the other marines to another lift. We walked into the port and I ran straight to the building marked hospital.

.

Once I was inside, I asked the lady in the front to look up my name and tell me if the doctor who helped me was here...

.

Lady: I'm sorry sir. The doctor who took care of you has went into the private sector. About a month after your discharge, he was recruited and left our hospital.

.

Nova: NNOOOOOO FAKKKK!!!

.

Monet: Woh... bad break...

Milk: Huhuhu... that sucks...

Astro: Guess it's not ment to happen...

Garp: Hahaha! Are you mad brat?

.

Nova: Ok... so I'll need to find him on the sea. My revenge wont be denied!!

.

Garp: ... sure. Well, here are uniforms for you 5 to change into. We are going over again.

.

We use the bathrooms in the hospital to change. Astro and I changed back into the recruit outfits... we returned to Garp and waited 30 minutes for the girls to come out...

.

Once they did... I got a look at Milk and her dislike for normal shirts was evident on her face...

.

Milk: How did you manage to get an even SMALLER shirt this time?!

Garp: I got 2 sizes bigger... did you get fatter?

.

Nova: And... I'm out.

.

I walked away from the chaos that was about to happen. Monet, Reiju and Astro followed me as Milk chased after Garp with her hands sparking. We waited outside by a bench for the two to calm down. Once we were all together, we took the lift up and I started to carry Monet on my back again. She put on a blindfold and tried to not look with her very limited Haki.

.

We made it about half way across the top of the Redline before Garp got stopped and had to help some Marines with something. The 5 of us waited for him to finish when a shop owner came outside and cought the girl's attention...

.

Shop Owner: Come one come all! Cosko's Pet Emporium has any beast you can think of!! Come and look at the newly born puppies, Baby kittens of tigers, world turtles, and so much more!!

.

Monet: Turtles?

Milk: Kittens?!

Reiju: Pets?

Astro: Nova... they have your turtle brothers...

.

Nova: I'll sell you to him you damn starfish!!

.

Milk and Monet grabbed one of my arms and Reiju pushed me... we ended up going into the store. The girls went instantly to the baby cats and dogs, Astro asked about the turtles, so I just walked around. I saw a few animals I recognized from the show... a South Bird, a News Coo, An Island Whale baby... that wont end up well, a White Walkie, and many others.

Nova: A news Coo? If I buy one... will it remember us and always bring us the news?

.

Shot owner: Oh no customer. These animals aren't ment to be released. If you release the news coo... it will run away. These pets havent been trained yet.

.

Nova: Then that means these are just nice to look at... no point in buying a pet that will run the first second it can...

.

Milk/Reiju: NOVA!! COME BUY THIS FOR US!!

.

Ehh? Buy a pet for them? Were going to be pirates... we dont need pets... Milks eyes are gigantic hearts while Reiju's are stars... what could it hurt to humor them?

.

I walked with the girls and was taken to the reptile area by Reiju. She took me to a snake enclosure... and opened it up. She stuck her arms inside and I almost lost my mind.

.

Nova: UNHOLY SATAN!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!

.

The following actions might have broke my beain... the snakes looked at her hands in fear and backed away. One snake tried to bite her hands but a metal sound rang out and the snake started to squirm in pain. Its fangs were beating like a heart and the snake was crying.

.

Nova: What am I seeing?

.

Reiju: After a few of these noodle things tried to touch me... they stopped and backed away. I'm trying to get to the one I like... ah, here it is...

.

She REMOVED A MOTHERFLIPPING SNAKE from the pile and PUT IT INTO MY HANDS!!!! Fight or Flight mode achievement unlocked... Failure. Body unresponsive and guts not found. She put a small black and pink snake in my hands. It was tightly bunched up and looked like an egg. It shivered a little bot didnt really move otherwise...

Reiju: I feel that this one is the best one. Just look at it's pretty colors.

.

Nova: Colors like this almost always mean it's highly poisonous...

Reiju: I cant be poisoned!

Nova: Good point but are you sure? We will be on a ship for large stretches of time...

Reiju: I've never had a pet before and I will take care of it...

Nova: Then let's buy it. Hold onto it because it looks cold...

We walked to Milk who was holding a little blue furball in her arms...

.

Milk: Its a fox baby... its named Mellow and its mine. It's a species called Linear Fox... its supposed to get big enough to ride. I need money to buy Mellow.

.

Linear Fox? The ones the Tontatta Tribe raised? Ok, those were kinda cool I guess. Not that I mind but I hope I dont get stuck taking care of it...

.

Nova: So we got the little fox and the snake... Owner, can I get information on these two and the basic requirements for them?

.

Owner: The fox is known as a Linear Fox from Dressrosa located in the new world. The snake is a rare breed of snake from the mythical isle of women... Amazon Lily. Theres a rumor that the snakes can be used as weapons but you need to train them first. Heres a list of their needs...

.

I bought everything he said and stored it. I then saw Reiju putting the snake in her uniform... what the hell...

.

Reiju: He said that Dot needs to be kept warm right? My body heat should work then.

.

Her shirt started to wiggle everywhere and she started to blush some before the snakes head popped out of her cleavage with a smile on its face... well, those snakes always have smiles on their faces...

.

Reiju: That felt weird but it's now wrapped around my tummy. It feels cool on my skin and she looks happy so all's well that ends well.

.

Nova: She? How do you know shes a "she"? I have no clue how to distinguish a normal snakes gender... let alone a super rare snake from Amazon Lily...

.

Reiju: Isnt everything born on Amazon Lily a girl? I read that in one of the medical books I was reading on our way here...

.

Nani?!... She brings up a great point... But does that work on the animals too... no clue. I'll ask Hancock after I kick her ass next time. Milk carried the fox in her hands and once we were ready, we went outside and found Garp eating some food.

.

Garp: I'm glad you 5 didnt cause a scene. I called ahead and your boats ready for us. Brat... I have some bad news... Virgo has escaped and we cant get in touch with the undercover agent... hes gone dark on Minion Island. It should take us few months to reach them but the Marines cant interfere unless we know his cover has been blown.

.

Nova: Hold on... does Virgo know of the agents identity?!

.

He nodded and started to walk quickly to the other side of the red line. Anyone who got in his way was Impolitely moved. We rushed through and made it to the lift. We started to take the lift down and Garp wasnt looking too happy.

.

Garp: Brat... how has your Soru training come along? Can you dash correctly yet?

.

Nova: I can dash using Soru a few times but I cant keep it up. My body crashes after dashing long distance...

.

Garp: That's because your breathing sucks. Your lungs are too weak to support the demands of your body... I'll teach you a breathing exercise to help you. It's not from the Marines so its fine.

.

He explained that my breathing rythm was bad and gave me a weird one to practice. After a few minutes of trying it... my nose, ears, and eyes started to bleed some.

.

My breathing returned to normal on reflex and I felt even worse for a few minutes...

.

Garp: Go again. The longer you can keep it up the better you will be.

.

I started again and pushed my limits. At first, my body couldnt handle it long but with repeated practice... the time I could change my breathing grew. After some time, the breathing habit stuck and I started to use the rhythm naturally. Once it was second nature, Garp had me Soru around the boat continuously. I lasted about 7 minutes my first time before I passed out.

.

My training went on for months. The girls did their Yoga daily, Reiju practiced with her poison and Dot her snake, Milk practiced with any firearm she could get her hands on, Monet has almost figured out how to fly using her snow wings, and Astro spars with Garp. I've tried to read some of the books that have fighting skills or Marine techniques from my (Storage) but any time I bring one out... Garp takes it from me and says "Confiscated, I've been looking for that". I lost my "Human Will" book to him.

.

I've lost 3 books to him so I cant bring out any book that can teach me new skills without it being stolen. I'm trying to find out where he put them but so far I've struck out. We are about half way to Minion Isles when we were attacked by pirate ship. Without saying anything, Garp grabbed a dumbbell of mine and threw it at the ship using 100% of his power.

The poor pirate ship didnt stand a chance... I'm not sure how he did it but the ship exploded into dust. I quickly jumped into the sea and went looking for treasure. I found a few chests and books, some food, and helped 2 people who were sinking like rocks float on a wooden plank. Once I was sure that they could life to the next island, I returned to my boat.

Garp: Did you use Soru when your under water yet? Learning to freely move with Soru underwater is the best practice to learning Geppo. Geppo is the last of the treasures I'll teach you.

.

Nova: Uhh... I'm not complaining but didnt you say you would only teach me one?

.

Garp: Dont sweat the small stuff. from what i heard, my future daughter in law caused you some trouble so I'm covering for her.

.

Nova: ... she almost made me a Eunuch... you think 1 of the treasures is enough to pay her debt?

.

Garp: Do you want to learn it or not? It will be really helpful for you to be able to move in any direction on Minion island. Plus, many people know both techniques in this world. I can say that you picked it up from one of them.

.

Nova: Fine, I'll take it then.

.

Garp: Good. Dont swim up normally but use Soru to surface.

.

Garp grabbed me and dunked me straight down towards the ocean floor. I stopped after a few seconds of sinking. I started to use Soru to move up but the physical drain was ridiculous. My lungs started to scream so I started swimming normally.

.

I'm in deep shit... I cant hold it!! I fought it but lost the urge to take a deep breath... and I was fine. I was breathing the sea water like it was air... dafuk?

.

My body lightly pulsed blue as I breathed underwater... maybe my Poseidon spark? Ok... so it let's me heal faster in water and breathe underwater... so it gave me the basic powers of Fishmen and Merfoke.

.

The feeling of breathing water is odd... my lungs feel heavy and cold. I can smell the water and taste it too. Tasting from my nose is confusing as all hell.

.

Astro found me and grabbed me. He rocketed us to the ship and tried to do mouth to mouth. I didnt hesitate and punched him right in his lips. He hissed and Garp looked at me with shock.

.

Garp: Why would you stop him from saving you? Your drowning and hes going to save you...

.

Nova: HOW AM I DROWNING IF IM BREATHING JUST FINE? Astro... try to kiss me again and I'll see if it's TRUE that Starfish have no bones...

.

Monet: Aww... I wanted to see your face when you came to and learned that Astro kissed you awake...

.

Reiju: Are you a Princess or a Hero... I'm not so sure anymore...

.

Milk: Were you able to hold your breath that long? That's impressive...

.

Nova: No... I'm never kissing a guy. I've got my lips full with you girls, IM NOT A PRINCESS!, turns out my Poseidon Spark let's me breath underwater...

.

Garp: Breathing underwater?

Monet: Tsk...

Reiju: Tsk...

Milk: Cool. So your a Fishman now...

Astro: My lips hurt...

.

I jumped back into the ocean and started to use Soru allover the place. Due to being underwater, my body healed from its exhaustion faster then normal and I was able to use Soru more then before. My lungs got a great workout from being forced to push water out rather then air.

.

We continued on our way to Minion Isle in this fashion. We didnt run into anymore pirates so it was smooth sailing. Astro joined me in my training and raced me daily. I was faster then him if I was using Soru but not by much. Once I couldnt use Soru anymore, he would leave me in the dust.

.

We finished racing and got back on the boat. Once onboard, Garp looked pale...

.

Garp: Kid... your job just got harder...

.

I looked towards where Garp was looking... Minion Isle was on fire...

.

We dont have much time.
