Mocked Toast

Simione brought Saico to the restaurant she frequented by the bay, Madam Ning's soup shop, where soup number four was served. When Saico mentioned he was hungry, Simione suddenly craved soup number four, and the urge inside her was so strong she didn't think of any other places to go and eat.

"Hello, dear," Madam Ning greeted her with a big smile when she saw her. "It's good that you came here at this time as I had just freshly cooked a big pot of your favorite. Still the same order, right?"

"Yes, please," Simione answered giddily, and for a moment, she forgot everything else—the school, the stress, her confrontation with Lawyer Erithel, and even the person with her, Saico. All her attention was focused on the smell of her favorite soup lingering on the counter, enticing her perfectly to order as many as she liked. "Your soup smells like heaven today, Madam Ning. It smells different but yummy."
