Chapter; 12 THE BURIAL;

Back in San Antonio Lily's friends and classmates from elementary and Highschool came to her burial...

they were all shocked! knowing Lily for a long time they just can't comprehend that such a beautiful and nice lady like Lily would suffer such a tragedy. they know Lily for being friendly, sweet and compassionate.

after graduating from high school Lily seldom went home... busy with her studies being a scholar she stayed at the apartment in Olongapo with her sister Lilac.

Lily always spends her free time studying at the school library, whereas she is admitted as a scholar, at Columban College .the apartment she's living with Lilac is a bit far from her university that's why she didn't have much time to bond with Lilac during those days.

meanwhile, Melton'S parents arrived from America...they are supposed to attend the wedding but instead, they attended Lily's burial

DAMIAN; I'm glad you made it here, it's sad that instead of a happy occasion, for Lily and Melton's wedding, we are here to mourn for Lily's death.

MARIE; (Melton's mom) we were also shocked when we hear the news from Melton, we're already at the airport at the time when we received the news.

Timothy; (Melton's dad) condolence to your family Damian... I know how hard it is for your family...

DAMIAN; thank you Tim... yeah it is.

especially to my wife and Lilac. they were both devastated. till now my wife is in a hospital.... she's suffering high blood pressure and heart problems since that day. I'm sorry they both can't be here to meet you and your wife.

TIMOTHY; don't worry Damian, we understand, we heard about it from Melton

DAMIAN; by the way, I already arranged for the rooms in our house for you and your wife. Melton is also staying there with us.

MARIE: thank you so much for troubling yourself Damian... how's Lisa now?

DAMIAN; oh, just like I said, she's suffering from heart problems and high blood pressure at the moment, that's why the doctor advised us for her to be confined at the hospital for a few days. Lilac is with her... it's been tragic to our family.....

It's been hard for Lisa to conceived and when she got pregnant we've been so happy especially when we found out it's a twin! but now... Lily is gone. if it's just a normal circumstance that she died...

maybe it won't be so hard for us.... but it's not...
