3/3 - And Beyond

One Day

One day,

I want to see you,

Sitting on a chair,

Listening to a speaker,

Watching on a stage.

One day,

Wearing a black gown,

A strange black hat,

With a tassel,

Smiling as you clap.

One day,

You will walk,

The grand stage,

Bathe with happiness,

As you complete the journey,

Of struggles and fears.

One day,

I may be an audience,

On your wonderful day,

Maybe with joyful tears.

Tired

You are tired,

I know you are.

Your eyes speak,

What your mouth can't.

Nothing I can do,

But ask above,

To ease the fatigue,

That you have.

Send his angels,

And sing for you.

To feel better,

On the things, you've been through.

*****

Kilom-Kilom

I ring. I write.

Watching the shinning, shimmering mirage

Of the sunset.

Wondering,

What tomorrow will bring.

As our boat,

Fighting against the current,

Ceaselessly rowing against the dark.

In the phase where sun sets peacefully.

We, however, will not.

Rose of the Wind

You point at me, I point at you,

In the vast clear sky and ocean blue.

Though a dark vacuum - the night outgrew,

Still, I can sail as long as I have you.

You are my guide if I lost a sea,

The north you point is where we will be.

Together we make a course made us good,

As we ride along with the current and tide's mood.

Everything that bears around us,

Nothing can prevail,

Not even sea monsters

Or huge waves and swells.

As we head-on, we value our variation,

For us to reach our final destination.

You're the star on my Mercator chart,

Must be regard or we might fall apart.

Yet, projection stays as projection,

You will always stay at the edge of my hand.

Being an effective guide to navigation,

The lighthouse I demand.

Angel of Heaven

I was sitting in a gloomy rugged terrain,

Wondering how the world I got here.

Only the howling wind caressed my skin,

Shivered by cold, cuddled by fear.

It's been ages I haven't seen the sun,

Seems like hope is gone.

Every time I look up the sky,

Stars are silent on my ceaseless whys.

Isolated in this woeful prison,

Is this peril had a reason?

Then one night changed everything,

A necrotic scene became a charming Cockaigne.

A ball of fire caught my eye,

Dashing towards me.

I wonder if heaven did cry,

A glint from the galaxy.

The meteorite was not just a meteorite,

Neither a mere rock after all.

A living being with infernal lights,

Wings are shredded after the fall.

Fascinating and luminous eyes,

Stared at me as time flies.

I was rooted gazing on her wings,

Angels are real beings?

She steps towards me waving her fingers,

In kindness and beauty, she lingers.

She manipulates time,

And my luck begun as her fingers fit mine.

Sun rose in the east over dark ridges,

Rivers glitter through lights of the dawn.

Pale surroundings turn vibrantly,

Every dark corner shines brilliantly.

It's been months still light don't fade,

Seeing this mythic creature is a mysterious fate.

She lights my darkest world.

Thank you, being on board.

This is just temporary I know,

You'll return to heaven again.

I faithfully offer you my heart.

Hoping that you will do the same.

Risus

You were thrown away.

You were forgotten.

They say you're a failure.

You endured that pain.

No one loves.

No one needs you.

If you will vanish within a day

No one will remember you.

Loneliness is the air you take.

For them, you are a big mistake.

You are all you got now.

Nothing more.

But.

Don't care for them.

You are you.

You were unique.

There is a light inside you.

Work hard.

Trust nothing but your flame.

Work hard

In silence

Until you will no longer introduce your name

Just breathe.

Live in grace.

And don't forget to put a little smile on that face.

You are a mess for them,

But not for me.

Test of Time

Destiny is sometimes full of mystery,

Like a hidden meaning on this rhyme.

We will meet the perfect person,

But we meet this at the wrong time.

Or maybe we can't see,

For we choose to be blind.

We search for something around,

Never knowing they already linger our mind.

We keep this stranger on our hearts,

Let them grow like a vine.

Until our unknowns will fit together,

That our fate will intertwine.

We listen to the same song,

Spaces of our hands fit perfectly.

But what we feel is sometimes wrong,

Because they are already own, anonymously.

In hoping that destiny still dozes off,

I made you this rhyme.

That maybe this is not the best moment,

You are, for me, the right answer to this test of time.

Neverland

There is a place,

A wonderland.

Bound with grace,

And mighty hands.

Floating in waters,

And leafy terrain.

A lovely illusion,

A spectacular domain.

A place where everything never gets old,

A house of jewels and solid gold.

No one knows it exists,

For they refuse to believe.

But if you trust me, I'll show you.

So, you can witness the place where our hearts will live.

We can fly without our wings.

Faith, princess, don't need strings.

For if one is drowned with happiness and mirthful thrust.

We are the magic,

We only need faith and trust and Pixie dust.

Forelsket

It's been 1 A.M

But the noise contained the air.

Stillness never stop.

Minds became lair.

Silence surrounds,

But my beats are loud.

That I utter your name,

On my soundless shout.

It's been 1 A.M

But still, it doesn't cease.

For my heart pounds hard,

As if a stranger to the peace.

But clock ticks like tiptoes by the window,

You linger on my heart that's all I know.

-Jean O'Leonhart-

A Wayfarer

She is an explorer,

For she always travels far.

Before, in my mind, she lingers,

Now she conquers my heart.

Wherever she goes,

Whatever she does,

Whenever she is,

Angels guide her through.

Driven by the wind,

And currents of the sea.

Towards El dorado,

And Atlantis' lost city.

She goes everywhere,

To places, I don't know.

And she mapped my heart,

That's all I know.

What is love again?

What is love again?

When the cruel world is in chaos.

It is the serene sound of a song,

That made everything falls at the place,

And that calms the savage storms.

It stays when there's a lot of reason to left,

It picks the right choice.

When everything is hoarse noise,

It is a sweet voice.

Though it can't be seen,

But we know it's still there,

Under the sweet morning message,

Or the chocolates wrapped with care.

It hides on the one who offers their hand,

Or the food we share.

It's the magic we didn't know the reason,

It's the wisdom full of lesson.

What is love again?

Does it measure by these three words?

Does that demand the reply of four?

I think it's not necessary,

For action speaks more.

As long as someone stays,

Without any condition.

As long as someone admires,

Without any discrimination.

As long as someone sees the beauty of someone's soul,

Love is when you find each other staring on each eyes playing the same song.

Love conceals beneath the letters of Christine,

May I ask, "What is love, again?"

To the Daffodil

She held the vibrant colors,

That shifts everyone on view.

By her waving body,

Holding a hidden clue.

The wind kissed her outline,

As her sepals bloom.

Butterflies are fancied by her petals,

Allured by her fume.

She stands alone on the hill,

As bathe by the rain.

Now the rainbow lights her leaves,

To let her bloom again.

She's just another flower,

But rare from a million,

And only anthophilous can discover,

That she's worth of adoration.

She's a precious daffodil,

A fleur on my chateau.

I want to keep her,

Not to pluck but to let her grow.

On Her Eyes

In one of the sweet dreams,

I doze off the gloomy night.

Under the gentle hands,

Of nature's delight.

On my vision, I held the phasing moon,

Like a lifeless star falling from the sky.

It falls deep and deeper into the forest.

Until I saw nothing but the forest fire.

"What have ye done?", I cried.

I found it laying on my sight.

"The stars are in jealous of her,

So, she kept her on her eyes."

Beauty and Beast

He is known as wild and violent,

Concealed in a beastly figure.

No one dares to cross his path,

Because he destroys what he devours.

She is known as kind and tender,

An innocent heart hiding in the skin so pure.

Everybody wants to own her heart,

For she's the beauty that she endures.

Together they're perfectly opposite,

As she meek and he's bold.

Unexpectedly crossed their path,

Creating a new story that is yet to be told.

He grins as she smiles,

Stranger as they're vagabonds.

They both seek what their hearts desire,

He fell as she responds.

Like those seasons in sun,

Everything can change.

He is a gruesome feral beast before,

But with her sparks - he's tamed.

There is something there,

That wasn't there before.

As something bend,

And all he did is adore.

Days in weeks prolonged,

As time freezes frequently.

Every time he caught her glance,

Everything lives in harmony.

On the perfect moment in no time,

He asks her this humble line:

"Would you care to hold a hand?"

He said, "To the beast within a man?"

Then, the perfect story was written,

On the castle, they both bore.

Staring closely on their eyes,

Swaying slowly on the dancefloor.

Blink

Maybe we are those blink in the eyes,

That fits every move.

Though we haven't always seen each other,

But we always shove.

One blink someone stays,

One blink they don't.

On the next blink, I found you,

The next one, you're on the font.

Notebook

Everybody has a notebook,

With broken pens to write.

When thoughts left unspoken,

We tend to do but a scribe.

Stroking every feeling,

And emotion on every ink.

Clearing our confused mind,

Through letters that did shrink.

Carefully flipping papers,

For pages not to be torn.

Embedded in the poetry,

Are the ought I fully sworn.

With the notebook, I carry every day,

You earn much of the pages.

With my broken pen that writes,

Lasting through the ages.

-Jean O'Leonhart-

*****

Card to Wait

If waiting for you are cards to pick,

I rather risk picking.

For every risk has a prize

That one is worthy of fighting.

The time when I flip the card,

Is the time that everything reveals.

Is something worth fighting?

Or surrender is a deal?

But what I pick made my mind,

Flooded with tidal glee.

I choose you in my heart,

The queen - worth of wait for me.

What if you float?

There is happiness awaits on the horizon,

That we are afraid to seek.

Yet, we still tend to find an answer,

To the things we don't meek.

There, on the horizon,

Where the sea plays the boat.

"What if I drowned?", you ask.

But darling, what if you float?

Calla Lilies

On your daily morning routine,

With freshly brewed coffee.

Glancing at the serene scene,

With a sweet little toffee.

You say it is hard to compete,

Against life's raging current.

But it's not about competition,

It's how about you live in fervent.

You keep reminding yourself,

You are not that good.

Like dead flowers on a corner vase,

Yet, you still love how the way it stood.

We're all dead flowers,

Worthless as it may seem.

And we need someone like you.

Who sees the beauty within.

You've denied your capabilities,

And live just being simple.

But the benignity in your smiles,

Are lessons waiting to be tackle.

You underestimated yourself,

So, you welcome self-pity.

But the world sees your petals,

I saw you on Calla Lilies.

Chickadee

On the cups of the twigs,

And barks of the trunk.

To the wild foreign bushes,

Even my gloomy bunk.

Sunken beneath this infinite prison,

Of my minds lunatic imagination.

As if I saw something,

Made me glued my eyes.

Fixed on a strange spot,

Above the tree, it lies.

I saw the stillness,

The magnificent innocence,

The humble picturesque,

Of a sweet visage.

She sings a song,

A morning call.

She's tiny but she's strong,

For she flies on every fall.

This time I make sure,

I am not tricked on what I see.

On the twigs, I saw the reality,

She's the cuteness of this little Chickadee.

Veni. Vidi. Vici.

I.Veni.

I came from a mission I don't know,

Maybe seeking something can't be seen.

I come knocking on your doors,

Hoping that you'll let me in.

We came on different realms,

Yet, we listen to songs we same sing.

II. Vidi

I saw the paradise embedded on your eyes,

As if witnessing the human heaven with splendid smiles.

On your simple figure, I know what conceals,

That it is the divine being that demons don't deal.

We saw each other's eyes and stare like we didn't do before,

The world only saw the beauty; I saw it deep down on your soul.

III. Vici

You conquer every star in the night,

Stardust leads the way.

The world bows down with your delight,

As singing Agnus Dei

You conquer the mortal land more than Bonaparte,

"You need a kingdom, your majesty?" I offer you my heart.

You unexpectedly came from a distant galaxy,

Every gloom terrain is now filled with gaiety.

Loyalty for you is for eternity,

Veni. Vidi. Vici.

Portrait of a Lady

Nothing can compare the exquisiteness she possesses,

As if she owns the world and all its best.

Between those tanned skin and hidden scars,

The world loves her the way she loves the stars.

On my pocket - the place where there is no time,

Everything halt when she sublimes.

That is when the leaves of the forest adorned her shawls,

As the vignette of her hair indulges like frozen Angel Falls.

On her eyes concedes an enigmatic butterfly,

Behind those, are the comets in the sky.

On her smile is the constellation of Cassiopeia,

That intertwined like a vine with the segments of Gemini.

The vast clear welkins with fair clouds became her hips,

On her ankles adorned by the setting sun that dips.

Those hands where the silver pair of pearls on the shore,

That can only be witnessed when they start to believe in lore.

The mystic of the misty forest mystified her mysteria,

Embedded in her cheeks is the staggering clouds of Nebula.

There, on the universe beyond space and time,

A portrait of a lady nestles perfectly fine.

π

I think of her 24/7,

From the dusk to dawn.

Hours of days are twenty-four,

She's an acute polygon.

Saccharine as the honey-comb,

The way she cast smile.

Shifts me in a thousand,

Or even a million miles.

At 3 o'clock,

With minutes of 14,

I looked past the window.

From the chamber where she's been.

There, on an eerie afternoon,

As golden clouds kissed the lonely rye.

I stared across the hallway of passing strangers,

Never knowing this moment is a pie.

-Jean O'Leonhart-

Flechazo

How I wonder what happened,

When an arrow struck on me.

As I am nailed on the walls,

Of the lady that I see.

I wonder how he did it,

I wonder why he did.

But these questions are unanswered,

As the answers are your trait.

At first, I am confused,

But now I realized.

That cupid did the wise thing,

And All I can do is smile.

For he wants me to pursue,

The dream I always pray.

The rarest blue diamond,

The words I can't say.

It pierced my heart,

And I love the way it bleeds.

Since I saw your outline,

I, now, know what I need.

To your Friends

If you happen to be angry,

If you happen to be sad.

If you happen to feel good,

If you happen to feel bad.

Someone is out there is ready,

For you to lend a shoulder,

Someone out there is happy,

For you to share with laughter.

They can be your best tool,

For you to cultivate.

A place - a person,

Where you can grow in fate.

You can count on them,

As they are same to you.

Tell me who are them,

And I'll the kind of person are you.

So, if you feel bad,

Or just feel sad.

They are there,

Offering their ears.

Your real friends,

To shake away your fears –tears.

Bairn

Days in the sun,

As we have fun.

Those are the days,

We're afraid to run.

You hide,

You seek.

They listen,

You speak.

Your wrist adorned,

By vibrant colors of bands.

You clap your hands,

They smashed the cans.

Gracefully dancing in the rain,

Singing a song though lose in the refrain.

Playing, just playing.

Never minding the terrain.

Swimming on the endless laughter,

Crying on your first fight.

Listening on grandpa's story,

Bothering through the night.

Those were the days in the sun,

That makes us feel alive.

Behind your lids, I can see,

The child that you once were - hides.

Silhouette

One fine morning,

I found myself staring in the dark,

Watching those little ripples,

Cause by morning drops.

Dripping,

The morning dew.

Points the crystal figure,

Of colors pink and blue.

Glistering the kindle of the light,

That devours the surrounding.

By the pace of her breath,

The little birds start to sing.

Trees confused their existence,

As flowers cursed themselves:

"I hold a book's pages,

She held the whole shelves."

A dark figure for those blind to see,

Refusing her gentle enchanting beauty.

Doesn't deserve the true colors she hid,

For her dulcet efflorescence conceals behind the facade of her silhouette.

Just the Way You Are

You don't need to wear fancy dress or high heeled sandal.

You don't need to mask up with deep colored make-up.

You don't need to force yourself to the things you want to belong,

You don't need to prove that things that were wrong.

You don't to be smart,

Just be witty.

You don't need to beg love,

Just be pretty.

You don't need to argue things,

Just keep silent.

You don't need to touch things.

Just be the tangent.

You don't need to hate things,

Just love alone.

You don't need to be a poet,

Just be the poem.

The world knows that you are the one that defines star.

You are beautiful, Darling, Just the way you are.

Someone who fights for her, too.

She won so many battles,

And conquer lands of unknown.

Her body's a magazine of bullets,

That she hides neither shown.

She's a little sprout,

That is weathered by seasons.

Eager to live her life,

And be the best person.

She is the lone soldier,

That combats lots of war.

A queen of her kingdom,

A knight that travels far.

But, there are times,

That storms are too strong.

Nights are too cold,

And hot days are too long.

There are times she wanted to surrender,

That she'd reach enough.

Sometimes she needs company,

Beside her lonely heart.

She fights for the world,

And everything around her view.

She also needs rest,

And find someone who'll fight for her, too.

Paradiso

The Seraphims singing on melodies,

Files of Principalities bows their heads.

Thy beauty accords heavenly bodies,

The Virtues and Cherubims hails and pleads.

Stars shine thy way, bonded by Milky Way,

On the glamour garden in golden bloom,

Creator's missive, the Archangels relay,

Telling that heaven is your long lost room.

Thy blessedness is beyond space and time,

The hidden figures of this Paradise.

Among rings, thou held uncommon divine,

Leaving those Angels awestruck in surprise.

Cupid's arrow strikes as I saw thy eyes,

T'is where thee belong - Heaven's Paradise.

You and I

There is a writer,

And he is named I,

That writes endless thoughts,

For the girl he can't deny.

There is this peculiar girl,

And she is named You.

For she conceals the library,

That wink him with a clue.

On the pages are waves of laughter,

And deep messages for You.

Though I is verbose,

Yet, I can't tell this girly dew.

There is pit stop and milestones,

In every unmarked chapter,

For every single word. Every little detail,

Are all I's thoughts of wonder.

In a few pages' time,

You will reach the very end.

And turn the book off,

And forgot where it begins.

But I'll tell You something I wish You knew,

That though books will be left, I's feelings still flew.

I have only last hope,

For You to know at last.

That the moment, You close this book,

I hope they write a new book named "US".

What if we walk separate ways towards a different path?

What if we found something we never had?

What if I can't forget you?

Knowing that I can never fell for them...

... because it's never been you?

Ode to Water Strider

Oh, Water Strider.

In a motion of free.

By the crystal dancefloor,

You dance in glee.

Creating tidal ripples,

That distorts the nature's mirror.

By the power of your ankles,

You sweep in a fine glimmer.

Water Strider.

Like skiing in ice,

Gliding on floor.

Fancied by a kiss,

In fool's paradise.

On my heart's tranquil pond,

You play in eudemonia.

The only water strider,

That inhabits my lone fauna.

If You Care to Look

If you care to look at her door,

You'll find her at the corner.

Hidden by the walls,

And the breath of death on its border.

Hiding by the strands of her hair,

And the boulders of her knees.

Masking up the pain,

And the lips with faded glees.

She is the success,

But she doesn't even try.

She knows how to be happy,

And to hide her silent cry.

She has the mighty strength,

But no one ever witnesses,

She is more than worth the value,

But the people care her less.

If you don't care to cast a glimpse,

You can't handle the darkness of her books,

The coldness of her winter,

And the sharpness of her hooks.

So, she keeps waiting,

for someone who can see her worth,

But how can you ever notice,

If you don't even care to look.

-Jean O'Leonhart-

Searching?

I don't need to be a butterfly,

Just fluttering everywhere.

Begging someone to lend their flowers,

Like they care.

I don't need to be a bird,

Who just aimlessly flying.

Mere looking for a twig,

To nests for nothing.

I don't need to be a wind,

That endlessly roaming,

Knocking every door,

Hoping someone will care to open.

I don't need to find many ways,

To search for every soul.

For mere looking at your eyes,

I know It's you, that I goal.

Blue

You asked me:

"What's your favorite color?"

I thought of the sky,

And the brighter it is when you smile.

I thought of the ocean,

And all of the beauty within it that lies.

I thought of the rarest diamond,

I just met.

The precious stone the world ever had,

And I tend not to forget.

The colors of the rainbows,

That stands as you lamp post when you're sick.

The vibrant reflection of the still water in the middle of the forest,

That calmly lies on your both cheeks.

I smiled as I think of you.

I just simply reply:

"Anything blue."

Strawberries

Your lips are strawberries,

Sweet as when it's ripe.

For strawberries are the answers,

When my thought of you will drive.

I wave at you with hello,

I heard your sweetest "Hi".

At that moment, everything changed,

When I choose my feelings to unhide.

Strawberries are pink,

Or red when someone love.

Strawberries are your lips,

That no one ever has.

Seagulls

Seagulls are those free birds,

Fleeing on the sky.

These birds also hide in the day,

When they see you cry.

When you're at the highest peak,

They gather their selves together.

On the sky, they play like a child,

Making days brighter.

The waving azure tiles,

That reflects the sky,

Are the countless outlines of those seagulls,

Flying by.

The time when someone loses your worth,

Is the time you don't report.

Reasons why the world have long nights,

Thinking you lose the sport.

But like those seagulls,

Flying constantly beneath you.

I hope you'll never lose your worth, again.

I much as I value you.

Thalassophile

She holds the vast imagination,

That conquers beyond land.

For the world only discovers few,

A mere tip of her hand.

They didn't saw the kingdom,

That peacefully rest within.

Or those living treasures,

Lurking beneath her skin.

There are lots of venturers,

Seeking this wavy plain.

She hides her secret perfectly,

For something real.

If someone can't survive her storms,

Or even her highest gale,

Then, someone is not worthy,

For the love that he conceals.

She's the calm ocean,

A mystery that forever lives.

Waiting for the perfect someone,

To tell her the secret that she conceals.

Joker Meets His Quinn

Gotham is lost,

And it needs a queen.

To lead to the place,

Where they never been.

I was lashed in the prison of my mind,

But there's a visitor,

And everything went fine.

She found the light on my darkness,

I found her in my eyes.

I tried to warn myself to avoid her,

But I was forced with love.

I gamble,

Never knowing the cards I would choose.

Joker has no value but I'm not afraid to lose.

I am daffy. She's silly.

I am crazy. She's insanity.

So, I risk all and everything I have,

Losing her is my not-to-do job.

"Will you come with me?"

And drown in the colors of love?

All you need is trust,

You have me on your hand.

This chemical filled our hungry hearts,

For every chance is a shuffle of cards.

An Illusion? A trick? Hypnotism?

No. Not even fantasy.

It's true, my dear. It's Reality.

Oh, Gotham.

I have found your queen.

And she's reading it smart.

Resting on a seat,

On the throne, I call Heart.

I'll never get tired

I'll never get tired of staring at you,

The sparkles in your eyes,

The soft feathery cheeks,

The gleaming hair that flies,

The rosy lips.

The way you cast your smile,

Made me as a whole.

I know you're more than beautiful,

Deep down in your soul.

The wisdom beneath your forehead,

The humor that you hold.

The pureness of your hearts,

The stillness of your mood.

Your purpose is to live,

My purpose is to value,

The one that made me whole,

That's why I can't stop staring at you.

Don't You Ever Quit

Don't Quit.

There are circumstances that life brings you down,

There are times that roads will end as we walk on.

Sometimes life opposes you against your will,

Or maybe in a mournful night, you utter: "Life's Unfair"

Don't Quit,

For life is just messing around.

Though it is hard to smile,

But it's worth when found.

There are always sharp ridges and deep cliffs,

But it is worthwhile when you reach the peak.

Don't quit.

Success is a gift wrapped with sadness and tears,

Boxed in a confusion and failure frontier.

You may saw it on distance but you may be deceived,

For success might be far but it's always within your reach.

Don't quite.

For every person on this world believes in you,

And that includes me, too.

The moment when you reach the highest cloud above,

I will be the one who'll capture you as everybody's proud.

When you're tired of standing,

Just take a sit.

Rest when needed but don't ever quit.

Miracle

A miracle is when you have nice food to eat.

A miracle is waking up in the morning and breath.

A miracle is walking out of the house safely.

A miracle is listening to the discussion and wait.

A miracle is having a good shower.

A miracle is surviving every disaster.

A miracle is when you discover whom your friends are true,

A miracle is spending your time whatever you like to do.

A miracle is waking up late during holidays,

A miracle is finding the best place to stay.

A miracle is knowing that you are love.

A miracle is choosing not to argue.

A miracle is the world,

But the miracles are you.

Hello, Good Morning

When I say Good Morning,

It means there's nothing better waking with you in my mind,

That all I did was to think about, is your last message last night.

It means that you are the happy thoughts I dream,

And I hope you did have the sweetest dream.

I hope when the moment you fix your bed,

Or when you brush your teeth,

Everything is all set and that you're in a good mood,

Though sometimes being late.

It means that in every blink of your eyes,

Or the croaky voice you speak.

The world celebrates the blessedness,

When your clothing fit your neck.

You have a gift that brings me hope,

And the talent that transforms everything without even touching them.

Without you, the world is much quiet and sadder as it may seem.

It means that I am hoping you wake up,

Cheerfully and be able to lend joy to your surroundings.

It means that I am happy.

I just simply said:

Hello, Good Morning.

Forgetting to Breath

I wonder how Mozart holds his breath,

When he first presses the key.

Or how Vincent van Gogh stroke his brush,

When he first painted the Starry.

I wonder how the soldier holds his breath,

When he first pulls the trigger.

Or how those people hold their breath,

While working deep below the sewer.

Every one of us has a different reason,

Forgetting how to breathe.

Just like when I first saw you at the clinic,

When I take my seat.

Her Smile

You wear the smile like a sea,

A pearly-shells across your teeth.

Resting there is their home,

Like waves still lies beneath.

They are the horizon,

On every word you utter.

The brackish water where the river flows,

With words of rain and thunder.

Emblazoned are the silver sapphires,

Within your rosy cheek.

So, it's easy for you to cast out,

Every moment that you speak.

That Kind of Love

The kind of love I'll give you,

Is the kind of love I know.

For I don't know how to say this word,

But I can only show.

The kind of love that wakes you up,

With sweet messages in the morning.

The one that cooks you breakfast,

And stays late on a deep evening.

The kind of love that brought you a cake when you're mad,

The one that volunteers to be a clown when you're sad.

The kind of love that opens the doors for you,

The one that saves you a seat.

Those kinds that don't rush things,

The love that doesn't compete.

The kind of love that walks beside you,

In times of good and bad.

The one that can be your very best friend,

when there's nothing left you had.

The kind of love that saw you the girl in a million,

The one that gracefully dances with you in a cotillion.

The kind of love stays with you when there's a lot of reasons to left.

The one that stands by your side even our feelings slightly shift.

The one that accepts you as a whole - as a person and as a lady, forever now-

The kind of love that cries looking at you as you walk the aisle like an angel, moments before we take our vow.

I can't utter such words but I can only show the feeling.

The kind of love that loves you in every little thing.

To Follow You

I envy you for how you change my world.

And that stroke of lightning that struck me in awe,

I didn't know how to find the right word,

And to think of you is the least I can do.

I didn't know how you did it,

But you found the forgotten gates,

In my heart that was long lost abandon,

Now was filled with trust and faith

I never used to praise my name,

But now I appreciate how it fits,

I like how it sounds,

When it came through your lips.

Your voice is now listed on my playlist,

Top among my favorite songs.

A lullaby in the middle nights,

That always keeps me warm.

You are the euphoria,

And you deserve much more,

For my world that was forgotten,

Was changed unlike before.

I run.

Never knowing what to do,

They say: "Follow your dreams"

And that's why I follow you.

C.H.R.I.S.T.I.N.E

She is courage. She is brave.

She is art. She is power.

She is kind. She is a wave.

She is all the stars and she's the glamour.

Life brings her down,

But she always bounces back.

She is one of the rarest jewels.

A needle in a haystack.

Every time there is an obstacle on the way,

She always prevails.

Even through the harshest storm,

She can always set sail.

She's silly. She is weird.

But she's a deadly combination.

She is tough as she always laughs.

She held the world's adoration.

When the night falls,

She gives off her light.

As though comets linger on her eyes,

That creates a kindle so bright.

She is the perfection of beauty,

As I can see her soul.

Her pure and kindness heart,

Is more than anything beautiful.

She holds the flawless smile,

That leaves millions of galaxies flabbergast.

She speaks the softest voice,

That became the accordion that would last.

She is the sun. She is the moon.

She is the one I look above everything.

She is my universe. She is Christine.

You

The greatest poem ever written.

All in one word.

All in you.
