Aether is still at the origin of everything, including Lumyst and True Will. It's the building block for all other forms of power in The Oracle Path. If you're into programming, you should always compare it to the binary language (Aether) and the higher-level languages (Mana, Reiga, Lumyst, Fluid, Spirit/Soul Power etc.) derived from it (python, c++ etc.). With higher-level languages, you can create things faster, easier and more intuitively, which would have been much more time-consuming and tedious with binary language. The difference, however, is that a high-level language is intrinsically limited by its own code (generally what it was designed for in the first place). For example, in principle, you won't code an open-world rpg on playstation 5 with javascript. The goal of Aetherists like Jake is to code/fabricate with Aether (binary language), more practical/functional energy sources to save time and make life easier in real life by automating spell casting processes, which would otherwise have to be done consciously (Jake having to manually create each Aether Rune and Symbols etc.). Soul is also made of Aether, and so is True Will, which is powered by Soul Power and Soul Strength, too. It's just that it's a form of Aether so highly compressed and complex in nature, that Jake isn't able to tell the difference.
