Mmm I don't understand the new skills worth, the first allows you to burn metal instead of eather, it can be used to fuel costly abilities but... Doesn't sound that great to me, I mean eather is easier to get than the metal, this also reduces his passive production. It can be used in critical situations, but he lacks some something to fuel. The second instead seems far to hard to use instead, it allows you counter something at high cost eather and metal, but can be easily stolen and rendered useless, unless he's missing something to use it, he might be able to make use of it if he can create a layer around his brain and other organs to protect him against shock waves and psychic attacks

If an entity similar to an instructor has appeared might imply Jake's acquisition of the extra metal was outside their expectations? That or an instructor appears right before the descent phantom thing.

He won't regret it, because with his weight ,he can just dive under ground again and vanish down into the depths before she can even touch him.

I dont see Jake being able to fight well but i believe that all that metal fused with him will turn him into a neigh-impregnable tank against the current applicants.

For what I remenber, instructor work for the Oracle, so with her timely apperance, she's here to take the metal right? Surely there was a bet between Oracle and Zhorion for who earn or take back the metal after some fight between contestants and Young Zhorions. Anyway I'm guessing she will try do buy the metal or part of it.
