After so many novels I read, I think I never desperate for a new chapter link this one. The story progression is best and on the new level. Many will think the story development is slow but at first it is and leter it is the best. A the overall story and abilities are one of the best among the top novels
I like the fact that the mc is selfish. The thing you need to understand is that he is literally nothing but s commodity in the mirror universe. So the fact he is prioritizing the rewards is anything but smart. Saving teammates can be done as a chore but not as a primary mission if wants to become something.Also ruby killing people should not be held against her as again this is not earth where you can apply it's moral values.
Mc is selfish. I mean just few chapter prior to this he was saying that he would save them if there was a slightest chance and lecturing Lu Yan how killing in ordeals is wrong when he is just letting his friends die when he could save. Besides there is a chance that they will really die even if they don't die this will be trumatic experience for them. He doesn't trust other where he expects them to trust him. Sarah has never done anything wrong to him and even saved his life during the digestor horde incident risking her life and never lied to him and proved her loyalty moreove he would have done the same if he was captured. Mc has a character which says that he wouldn't have someone as his girlfirend unless she has *** with him. If you ask me I would say Sarah is a much better girl than his so called soul mate Ruby who is killing people left and right with kill count of 98.
