3 My Family

My name is Ryūtarou, I don't have a family name since I'm an orphan but now I'm reborn in another world as Arthur Kursvelt. I now have parents and family.

My parents are noble in the Suntalia Kingdom. I as a baby also become noble by birth, even though my parents only recently become noble. I had golden hair and blue eyes from my father and my mother.

The maid Aine which held me when I was born become my caretaker. She's still young and always in my room taking care of me. She's the daughter of the head maid. She's 12 years old now.

Being reborn and have to experience life as a baby sucks because I can't do anything besides eat, poop, and sleep but I'm happy that now I have parents and a loving family.

I start to learn that magic exists after I heard my mother said that she supply mana to her body after giving birth to me. The world that I'm being born now apparently has magic.

As a baby, I only lay down and eat while not known to others. I try to feel mana around me while pretending to sleep. The feeling is like a cold wind sensation coursing through my body.

Other than that I also try to walk after 4 months and do it a month after that. My parents are so happy when I first walk, as a surprise, I can even call them mom and dad a few weeks after that.

After that, I will try to sneak to my parent's room when they go out, visiting the town. I sneak in to read a book. Aine always watching me and thought that I am just interested in books. She always broke her character as a maid when only the two of us alone. "Uwaa... Arthur-san do you like books? Want me to read it to you?"

I looked at her for a few moments then nod my head. "Hehe... You're so cute, do you know that? Here, let your big sister read it for you."

The language in this world is the same, only the writing is different. It took me a while to learn about it.

Now I'm 2 years old. I could understand words and write also speak even though a little hard. My mother starts to teach me about this world.

The world is named Vastoria, the world is moving around magic where people can learn magic and also get God's blessing when they reach 17 years old. Some got blessing when they're born.

I'm listening to what she said. She then asks "Do you understand what I'm saying, Arthur?". I nod my head toward her. "Now Arthur, try saying 'Status' this is the basic in this world."

"Status" Suddenly a window thingy popped out in front of me. The context inside of it is like a game from my previous world.

"Mommy, the number reach 500, am I strong?" I said while pretending to be a child. I could see my mother processing my word and looked a little shocked. "Of course, my son is strong. Why don't mommy take a look? Just swipe the status to mommy ok?"

I swipe my status to my mother and she shocked but maintain her smiling face. "See? I'm strong.". Then my mother being woke up from her shocked take a quick look at me and smile. "Yes, you're very strong. Do you want to show daddy?"

My mother who wants to tell father, bait me with a question. I smile at her and nod "Yes, I want to show daddy.". Then both of us walk to my father's office.

My father notices the door open then close his book. "What is it, Rose?". " Nothing, Arthur wants to share his status with you. Go on Arthur.". For a while, I couldn't hear what my mother is saying. I gawked at my father's office. It's full of books, this room feels classic but breathtaking.

"Arthur?" My mother called me in louder voice while also holding me. "Ah, yes mom. Daddy look, I'm strong." I said while running to my father and share my status.

"Hooo.. Let me take a look.". My father also becomes shocked and gives me a quick glance and looks at mother. I unconsciously follow his eye and look at his mother. Mother only smile and nodding at her father.

My father quickly regains his stature and smile at me " Of course, in fact, you're really strong. Now, Daddy is busy. Go play with Aine okay? Daddy needs to talk to mommy."

"Can't I be here?" I said since I also want to know what they gonna said but my father only smiles at me and said "Daddy and Mommy want to talk about your training. Since you're this strong, we might have to change the training when you're big."

"Yes dear, Let Mom and Dad talk about your training. Why don't you go toward the dining room to have your lunch." Mother said supporting father. I reluctantly agree and go out of the room.

Meanwhile, The atmosphere of the room becomes tense. Rose is panicking, So do Edward. Both of them are confused about what they gonna do.

"What's going to happen, Edward? Our status as Baron still hasn't stabilized yet. If the Royal family notice about Arthur. They might take him away or worse. We can't let him enroll in the Academy."

"Yes, the situation is direr than I thought. We have to teach him ourselves. He got 2 Blessing and both of it Divine rank. It's never heard before, even the effect of the blessing. Let's hope nothing worse can happen. He didn't have to report his status before 17. We need to wait for his 17th age ceremony."

The room starts to become gloomy and Edward hug Rose that crying in his embrace.
