I hope that there aren't many more scenarios like this in the future. The whole thing just felt forced and broke the flow of the story. I mean seriously, who's first reaction upon seeing a child is "I'm rich!! Children sell for a lot of money!! (Because for some inexplicable reason children sell for a lot of money)". Him being an arrogant d*ck I could understand, but it just seemed like his personality got exaggerated from drunken thug with a chip on his shoulder that throws his weight around to feel better about himself to crazed psychopath that drowns puppies for fun in the middle of the street. One seems like a douchy soldier with too much authority and the other is a crazed idiot who no sane person would ever give a sharp object to.

Now class what did we learn about today.. Never make Erza cry
