Was interested about your book, after the post on forum, so I checked it out. Use đ some đ periods, is my suggestion. The whole paragraphs are separated by commas alone. Instead of commas in certain places, use periods. A suggestion anyway. It's interesting at the start. Not op MC, you said no Harem, which is a big plus to me already. Variation of culture will be present further I assume (as not everyone will have Chinese names). As for grammar? I mean, it's very readable and you can understand each sentence. Sure an edit here and there (like: Cant see that he's afraid? Should be Can't. Those type of mistakes are really nothing, a once over and you can get rid of them). I even suspect you are not some newbie writer. Good work.
The reason it's okay for a guy to have several women is that women have 100% of the power in choosing a consensual mate. They have all vetted him as a good mate, verifying his value as a partner, provider, and protector. The reason why it's not okay for a woman to have multiple mates is that it shows that her ability to vet a single good mate is flawed, or if she has hundreds of lays, that she can't vet a mate at all, meaning that she can't identify a competive gene source, provider, and protector for herself or her future children, something is wrong with her, and this leads to uncompetitive children, or competitive deterioration - each generation dumber, less capable, and more violent than the last. Men want to be the first and solo lay for women because it shows that the woman has carefully screened all of the other men out and chosen him, it shows that she is a careful and considerate person, judicious. It also vets him in the eyes of other women, which is why so many women go after married guys - he's a verified winner. A key that can open many locks is a great key. A lock that opens to any key is a ****ty lock.
Author? You have my FULL RESPECT with that last comment... I'm actually Sick of harem stories where the ONLY harem it's one with the main lead and his women... if there's going to be a harem then BRING ON THE EQUALITY!!!!! None if that "Only men can do x bullskip" and yeah that also applies to other genres and storylines too. It's very disgusting to mostly find stories where "women are ONLY STRONG with a Man by their side" like women have never led armies, created new science or technology, or even, God forbid, ruled entire countries in the present OR the past... but that's just my rant. Thank you again for that last commentand for not turning this into another harem fest. I knife that there's a Lot if guys out there with blue ball's but you can Happily Miss me with that skip Cruz I'm honestly Not interested lol.
