Chapter 2

-Sarah Nockdern's Point of View-

"Miss Sarah,are you feeling fine now? ", the school nurse said. She had pointed ears. Oh yeah, I collapsed after what happened... Wait, I was just left hanging! I didn't know what to do now! So the school nurse have magic too huh? Maybe I can ask her..

"Oh you are one of the new magicians! Congratulations on your awakening! You must be--", the nurse was interrupted when someone knocked on the door.

"Yes, you may come in.", the nurse said.

Oh, it's Mark. WAIT. I was about to stand up when he pushed me to the clinic bed and I was knocked down.

"Did she just woke up?", he asked the nurse.

"Yes, Mr. Walker. Do you know her? Professor Evander brought her here but he didn't put her name and I need it for the log book.", the nurse said and she even blushed. Curse this good-looking guy, now my back hurts because he pushed me. I just lie down to the bed, it's comfy anyways and the clinic smells good and the nurse is pretty. I don't mind staying here.

"Before you blurt out all of your disgusting thoughts, here's an earring that will serve as a barrier so that other people won't be able to read your mind.", Mark said as he handed a pair of beautiful diamond drop earrings. Wait diamond?!!!

Even the nurse was surprised!

He assisted me to sit on the clinic bed and he put the earrings on my ear, the nurse immediately gave me a mirror. Why is she acting like a maid? Wait, she might be angry by what I just said but...she is just smiling at us?

"She can no longer read your mind. This is no ordinary diamond drop earring, it can block mind readers up to the highest class of mage.", he said then smiled...smugly.

"Your face is an open book though, they wouldn't even need to read your mind to tell what you are thinking.", he added. Honestly, every good thing he did just disappeared because of what he just said.

"Why are you even doing these? And when will my questions be answered?", I told him.

"Miss Evangeline, can you leave us for a while.", Mark said. How come he can just order around the nurse like she is a maid?!! She just bowed to him and she immediately got out of the clinic. How weird...

"It seems like you realized already that you are not just a normal person and also not just a normal magician.", he said then I just nod in agreement.

"Medusa is the one that was supposed to be telling this to you but she need to take care of some stuffs in order for the magic ministry and the castle to avoid being in complete chaos.", he added.

"Let's see. I will start with the term Eyes of God. It is said that the people who are being seen through his eyes are normal people, we, the mages, are like the disciples and apostles who will guide them to a good life. And then, here comes the Rule of God, 15 years old is the awakening age for non-magic users about the truth of this world, meaning they will learn about magic. They will see it, but they will not be able to use it. If you were able to be awaken before that age then you are a magician or mage. A disciple and apostle of God. That's the fundamental, do you get it?", he said.

"Erhm... I think so, but there are some plot holes...", I said then he smirked.

"I thought the same...wait don't give a comment like you are criticizing a story! Also, asking these things to our professors and other people is not good because it is a taboo.", he said while whispering. DAMN, HIS HANDSOME FACE IS TOO CLOSE, SOMEONE HELP ME!!

"Okay, got it. Then you said these to me because I must not ask this to the professors right? You know I will get curious and I might get into trouble???", I asked him then I laughed. I was surprised. Since when did I get comfortable to other people and since when did someone took care of me like this?

"It's a yes and no. Yes, because Medusa asked me to do this and she is my tutor and NO because I just want you to owe me one. Or actually two, because of these earrings.", he said.

"Oh, okay...", I said then I just looked at him. He also stared at me. What the hell is this a staring contest?!

"Oh, to add one last thing. You are the possible future queen and leader of the guardians. There are four guardians. You will meet one of us in the night class.", he said as he stood up preparing to leave.

" Wait what 'us'? You're also a guardian?!", I said.

"Yeah, and the night class for our school is actually for mages. Mages just happened to be really talented even as a normal person. You're really smart and creative right? That's a mage quality.", he said then he suddenly leave. He left after taking the food that the nurse prepared for me! Damn! It was even my first time staying in the clinic! That guy!!!

I returned to the class and it was almost lunch time. I skipped two subjects! I looked around and I'm really surprised how almost half of the class have supernatural feature. I looked like a normal human and I don't think they know I'm a mage.

I was in a daze the whole class. When we are dismissed and I was about to leave the school, Professor Evander called me and he was even running. Wait. What did I do?!!

"Sarah! Night classes!", he said then I stopped walking. Crap, I even forgot about that I'm so embarassed. Well, I'm not used to it so I guess it's fine..?

"Sorry, Professor.", I told him. He just smiled at me then I was guided to a room in a different building. I was surprised because what inside the room was full of elementary students and I'm the only 8th grader here!

I glanced at Professor Evander and he just smiled at me innocently and said, "Well for now, we will introduce you as a late bloomer. Most magicians really got to know that they are mages from ages 5-8."

All the little ones here stared at me. They're definitely judging me!

Some of them laughed, pulled my skirt and even put stickers on my uniform the whole class. Professor Evander just told what Mark said me back then in the clinic. I remember Mark saying that I will meet one of the guardians, is one of us still a child?!

"Big sister, are you a late bloomer?", a first grader asked me. He's not an ordinary first grader, HE IS A VERY CUTE, ADORABLE AND POLITE ONE! He's the first one to call me a 'big sister' here. He even have red hair and green eyes. So adorable!!!

I just nodded in agreement because I can't help it because he's too adorable! I don't mind being their classmate as long as this adorable child is beside me!! He even asked for my name and I also asked for his name.

"I'm Jacob Nelson,6 years old,Grade 1", he adorably said.

"Your name made me remember a werewolf.", I said because I freaking remembered Twilight.

"H-how did you know I am from a family of werewolves?!", he said surprised. (still in a cute way)

Wait?! I got it right?! I explained to him that it was just pure coincidence and sighed in relief. How cute!!

Professor Evander's lecture or introduction lasted for an hour only because the children are starting to get their attention to other things. Well, they're children.

After the lecture, Professor approached me and he said that after a semester ( 3 months ) we will take a magic exam to measure if we're Class D, C, B, A, S, SS, or SSS mage. He said that from lowest to highest. He also said that children usually get Class D, and then mages usually at my age are on Class B.

"There are exceptional children who are already on Class S. Like Mark Walker, you met him right?", Professor said. I just nodded and he looked like he was expecting me to said more or ask but I don't want to since Mark already warned me about the taboo.

"I'll think of a question, I will stay in the school for atleast an hour...are you still here during that time, Professor?", I told him. I just remembered about the royal family thing and also about my parents.

He smiled then he pat my head, "You can depend on me too--", he was not able to finish what he is saying because something flew above my head that stabbed his hand.

"Hey! What if Sarah was hurt!", Professor suddenly snapped. Who stabbed him? I looked at the direction where he was shouting but it was just outside the window. How random.

Suddenly, someone hugged me from behind. Wait what?!! I looked then...it turned out to be...

"Jacob!", I said then I lifted him up then hugged him. Jacob also hugged me tightly. Oh my god this is such a bliss. This a perfect day. A shota hugging me. Gawd. Okay, let this onee-san take care--- Oh crap, my weeb side is showing.

"Hey! He is just a kid! He is not harmful!!", Professor suddenly shouted again. What??? He's acting really weird. He even jumped off the school building then he disappeared.

"Jacob! Come on! We need to go home!", a girl suddenly shouted. I looked at her and she looks like she is... the popular girl in our year? Wait,what's her name again... Anyways the point is she has the red hair and green eyes like Jacob...are they siblings?

"Are you perhaps her sister?", I asked her. She looks angry at me, oh crap, was it because I was carrying her brother and I'm a stranger?

"I don't want to go with you! You're always reading something on your phone! You're not playing with me!", he shouted then he hugged me tightly again. I don't really know if I'm supposed to be happy or alert because of these siblings.

"I told you, it's just for 5 minutes, my favorite fanfiction author just updated...come on. You're troubling a stranger.", she said looking apologetic to me. I just smiled at her then I saw the phone she's holding and the cover of the fanfiction she is reading....

...those are my secret works....those are...lemon fanfictions!! Usually shipping between two characters (hetero...homo ships...etc)...oh crap...but maybe if I said something then Jacob will return to his sister.

"I'm actually the author of that.", I said. His sister was surprised then she turned off her phone and started whistling. Jacob looked at me and I smiled at him.

"Your sister is just supporting me, I'm sure she will play with you after reading those.", I said then he looked away then he nod.

"Okay...I will forgive you today... It's because Big sister Sarah is kind...", Jacob said then he returned to his sister's side. Suddenly a butler appeared out of nowhere and Jacob waved goodbye to me then they disappeared. His sister was left here and she looks serious now. Well, of course, she must also be a closet otaku. Okay, I'll tell her the magic words.

"Next chapter, I will make an AtsuHina special one-shot. I'm still a full-fledge KageHina shipper but I just really love Atsumu's ass and his voice actor, Mamoru Miyano. My other book is still open for requests, just comment it down and we will decide on a vote. Adios, gays!Stay safe! Love you all! ", I told her. Her face was really priceless right now. Those words may look random to you but I am talking about my last message in the latest chapter.

I took out my phone then I showed her my drafts then she was really surprised.

"Oh my god...AHHHHHH!!!!", then she screamed and hugged me tightly.

"I like your work!!! My username is 'felixrobaneismycurrentdaddy'!!!! I did an illustration to one of your special chapters and you posted it! To think that you---", I stopped her in mentioning my vulgar username and I also screamed with her. She is a really good artist! She is good when it comes to drawing details on the hands!!

"It looks like you already met the leader,Jane.", Professor Evander said as he returned looking half dead and had a multiple wounds on his body. Is he even alright?

Wait what does he mean?! So this girl, Jacob's elder sister, is one of the guardians that Mark mentioned?! She also broke free from our fangirling hug then she is looking serious right now.

"You are the missing royalty? And our leader?", she asked me.

"That seems to be the case...", I said then I looked away. Just when I finally got a friend...what if her attituder changes...

She held my hand and she smiled at me," I'm Jane Nelson! One of the guardians! or future guardians! You are now my master! No wonder why I really like reading your works!"

She didn't hate me? Just how blessed is this day? I was about to cry but I think I'll just treasure this happiness I found.

"Wait, just call me by my name!", I told her.

"No, you are my master starting today, master!", she said then she clung to my arms.

"Are you alright Professor..?", I asked him.

He smiled at me then he said,"It's alright. This is nothing. I just stopped someone from committing a murder here in school."

"Murder?!", I said surprised then we started to walk.

"Murder because of jealousy.", he said while laughing.
