Chapter 3 - Mother Pearl and Angeline

Angeline panicked and then thought about drying herself, so she tried to reach the tissue from the table, and the tissue got to her itself, which seems like she used powers to get the tissue and she started drying herself. Raphael saw Angeline using her powers while he was looking for the Mother Pearl. Raphael realised that the Mother Pearl is probably with Angeline as he saw her using powers.

Raphael: You used powers. Did you take the Mother Pearl?

Angeline: Huh? What Mother Pearl? I never took any pearl and besides I already have a pearl necklace I bought long time ago when I was on a holiday.

Raphael: You became a mermaid and can use powers. That is the power of the Mother Pearl, it can change a human.

Angeline: What are you talking about?

Raphael removed his pearl necklace that was born from the Mother Pearl that gave him powers to change into human form, and other powers. Angeline saw Raphael turn into a merman.

Raphael: I am a merman. My mother used to own that Mother Pearl, and when she gave birth to me, she gave me this necklace that was born from her necklace. When my aunt betrayed her and I lost her, my aunt almost took the Mother Pearl from her but good thing I was able to stop her and got the Mother Pearl from mom, but aunt is using Dark Mother Pearl, which is stronger than mine, only the White Mother Pearl can defeat the Dark Mother Pearl. So, my dad came and aunt escaped, my dad cannot defeat her using his pearl as well but my aunt cannot hurt my dad because she loves him. So, my dad decided to send me to your world to hide from my aunt and hide the White Mother Pearl. This way, she cannot reach me and we know that most humans are scared or does not like us merpeople, and some does not even believe in us that we exist. The White Mother Pearl must not fall on the hands of the enemy, even though my mom put a spell on it that only the pure in heart can be the heir to the pearl and use it's powers but if it fell on the hands of the evil, it will lose it's powers. The White Mother Pearl is our only chance defeating my aunt and it can only be used by a woman or mermaid, I cannot use it because I am a merman and I cannot have 2 magic pearls.

Angeline: Wow, I feel sorry for what happened. Don't worry, I will help you find the Mother Pearl.

Angeline finally got dried up, but she is naked below. She panicked and covered herself with tissues.

Angeline: What? Where are my underwear and shorts? I only got my top.

Raphael: They should be around here. They will automatically fall off when you turn to mermaid.

Angeline: You saw my thing! Ughh.. I feel so embarrassed.

Raphael: Don't worry, there is nothing to be embarrassed.

Angeline: But, you saw my body. It is not that attractive. Ever since I got sick long time ago, and started taking this certain medicine prescribed by my doctor during that time, I started gaining weight and my body's shape started to change. A lot of people were asking me to model before because I had good looks and body. Now, I only have my looks.

Raphael: You still have your body, it may look unattractive to you but it is just part of your body. What is important is how you treat people, your personality, your heart, and your faith.

Angeline: Thanks.

Raphael's and Angeline's face got closer and closer again as they look at each other while talking about what is important and when they were about to kiss again, Angeline touched something round and hard on the floor. They both turned to look and saw the Mother Pearl glowing at contact with Angeline's skin. Raphael realised that the Mother Pearl has chosen Angeline as it's owner. Marius started to wake up, and Angeline is still naked below covered in tissues only, and she suddenly got up and wear her underwear and shorts, and continues eating. Raphael continues eating as well and act like nothing happened. Marius then went to the kitchen/dining and saw them eating, and took his breakfast to join them. Since, it is Angeline's day off, and Marius got work, although Marius works from afternoon until evening, Angeline decided to go out with Raphael to sell the stones for auction.

Angeline: Marius, me and Raphael will go out to register his stones for auction.

Marius: What time?

Angeline: Soon. After we eat, I will take a bath and then Raphael and I will go out. So we can finally buy a house and buy clothes for him too, he does not have enough on his bag, and they look unique, antique, and princely.

Marius: Okay. (Marius thought that it is okay for them to go out instead of staying at home because they might have sex if they stayed home just the two of them)

Raphael laughed reading Marius thoughts but got confused what sex means. He is a merman and in their kingdom, they don't reproduce the same way as humans.

After they eat, and Angeline finished her bath and Raphael, they finally went out and Marius is left alone and he decided to watch some tutorial for a better photography instead and also searched about diamonds. Raphael decided to give a couple of diamonds to Angeline and asked her favourite colour and gave her white and blue diamonds. Finally, at the auction shop, Angeline inquired about some of the stones Raphael has. Raphael took some from his bag. 2 pink diamond, 1 blue, 1 white, 3 emeralds, and 2 rubies. Raphael then took 2 more diamonds that he plans to give to Angeline.

Raphael: Angeline, I want to give you these 2 diamonds as a gift. Thank you for helping me so much. (then he whispered to her) You are the owner of the Mother Pearl now, you deserve to have these as well, I want to give you more but I will ask my father first. I will talk to him using my magic pearl tonight. For now, this is from me.

Angeline: Thank you, but this seems too much because the Mother Pearl is already like a big reward, although, a bigger responsibility as well.

Raphael: Yes, this is why I am giving you these. You have a bigger responsibility now, and you need these more than ever. You can auction them too if you want, or save them later. I will help you anyways, for any equipments, training, and lessons you need.

Angeline: Oh no, training and lessons is fine, but I will take care of equipments. I will auction one of these diamonds then. Thank you so much.

Raphael: Okay then. We will start training as soon as we have enough space or room for it.

Angeline: Okay great.

Few hours later, Raphael and Angeline changed clothes before the auction starts as they need to look like the other wealthy people joining the auction. Raphael changed using his power of Earth as fabric is made from leaves or plants and other parts of Earth. Angeline wondered how and Raphael thought her. Angeline then wondered why he had some clothes in his bag before if he can use magic for that.

Angeline: Why did you have clothes on your bag before, if you can use magic to have clothes?

Raphael: Those clothes are different and I can only copy clothes that I have seen.

Angeline: Oh, I see. Does that mean the same for me then using the Mother Pearl?

Raphael: Yes.

Angeline: Okay, great. I will look for a dress I like on the internet then copy it.

Raphael: The internet?

Angeline then started explaining and teaching him how the internet works.

Raphael: Wow, that is so cool. You look so beautiful. I will do that next time then.

Angeline: Hehe. Let's go to the hall. The auction is about to start.
