Some Info (Not necessary to read)

Hi, I'm Finley. It's my first time writing, I decided to write this One Piece fanfic after being inspired when I read some others, not many One Piece fanfics suit my preference so I thought I'd try and create one that I'd enjoy and I hope others can enjoy it as well.

A bit of info about me, I study computer science at university and I am fairly swamped with work and assignments all year round so I'm using this fanfic as a way to vent stress and cool down. However, this also means I'm too busy to work on it during exam weeks and times when deadlines are close so if I don't update for a little while that'll be why.

Some info about the formatting and grammar:

'That happened.' - Words surrounded by single quotes are thoughts, so he is saying that happened in his head rather than out loud.

"That happened." - Words surrounded by double quotes is speech.

~ or * - Tilde or Asterisk will probably be for actions however most will just be described unless it requires that. (this will rarely get used)

Any feedback and constructive criticism are appreciated, feel free to hate in the comments or whatever, doesn't bother me too much anyway. This is my first time writing however English is my first language so grammatical mistakes should be to a minimum but since I have to manually check it all myself some do slip by from time to time so feel free to comment on that paragraph the mistake and I'll update the chapter with corrections.

There are a lot of ways this story could go and I'm not fully set on a direction yet however I'll try my best to keep it consistent and if anyone has any suggestions feel free to comment them.

My main aim is to make this a much more realistic world of pirates, with actual deaths of characters, crimes being committed and out protagonist will certainly kill people. If people prefer a younger audience approach with our protagonist just knocking out his opponent and not committing any crimes, this probably isn't for you. Caesar will definitely embrace being a Pirate and certainly will steal from people, hold people for ransom, kill people. However, there will at least be some crimes he doesn't commit and he won't just go out of his way to commit crimes.
