Chapter 2: The box

I walked inside our barrack. I'm so dizzy then I accidentally slipped on the floor and saw something under my bed. Hmm is that a box? I took it. It is covered with dirt.

While Im cleaning the box I saw something written at the bottom, "Timo's Time", then I suddenly remembered that the box was given by my grandfather.

I opened the box and there I saw a beautiful wristwatch. It captured my eyes. It was made by gold. The carves are well detailed that makes the wristwatch special and unique. This watch gives me peculiar feeling but nevermind.

My grandfather is a well-known craftsman. He had a workshop granted to him by his father and they are both great in making clocks and wristwatches.

Even folks from other town would still go to my grandpa's house to buy or seek out repair for their clocks and wristwatch.

When I was a kid, my grandfather told me bedtime stories about a magical wristwatch. He said that the watch can take you to places far from home. Places that will mesmerize you, make you believe impossible things and make you amaze of unexpected situations but I didn't believe grandpa.

Grandpa also told me that there's a golden button on the watch that should be pressed to reveal its secrets.

I'm about to fit the watch but Jonas suddenly came inside the barrack.

"Hey Lucas! Come on! We need to get back at the field because Lieutenant Owen gets mad to those who are missing during a training! ", Jonas yelled. So I quickly put the watch and the box inside my cabinet and hurried up to the field.
