Yun and Zhen Luo's Wedding

It is spring almost summer of 202 and Yun was wearing red clothes while having a depressed expression on his face while everyone else was happy that he was getting married in particular his mother.

She planned everything with Zhen Luo and Madam Zhang to make it perfect for someone of Yun's status even though Yun wanted a small wedding but it would make him lose face going by his mother.

"*sighs* Why," says Yun to himself looking at his reflection in the water when he turns around and sees his children standing there even little Yang who was holding Rin's and Mulan's hands to keep him balanced.

They were all wearing red and Yun walked toward them and picked up Yang. Yang was smiling from ear to ear because he was receiving everyone's attention not knowing what was going to happen today.

"Your bride is quite beautiful in her red dress," says Mulan comfortable with Yun marrying again.

She and Fang had enough time to come to terms with Zhen Luo becoming their stepmother while Zheng was never against it since he thought that Zhen Luo was an honest person.

"It seems you two accepted this marriage between me and Zhen Luo. I am happy that I raised some great children," says Yun happy to see them accept Zhen Luo.

"I heard that Sun Quan and Cao Pi are running after you. Should I get your brothers to hold them back," says Yun taunting Mulan a bit since Cao Pi could get in the way of her and Sun Quan.

"I have everything under control regarding Sun Quan but I could use a little help with Cao Pi," says Mulan hinting to her brothers to keep Cao Pi occupied while she deals with Sun Quan.

"You heard your sister," says Yun to Fang before turning to Zheng and Rin and he says, "I have a special mission for you two."

Rin and Zheng were now curious while Yun handed over Yang to Mi Shi who became Yang's full-time babysitter before saying, "Sun Quan came with his little sister, Sun Ren. I want you two to play with her."

This made Rin happy since playing was her forte while Zheng was a bit disappointed since he was just a distraction so Mulan could spend time with Sun Quan.

Sun Quan arrived with a group of escorts which included Huang Gai, Han Dang, another man, named Zhou Tai, and a young teen girl, named Sun Ren.

Sun Ren inherited the brown hair color from her father, Sun Jian, while her green eyes resembled that of her brother, Sun Quan.

Sun Quan came to show his good manners since his territory lies to the south of Xun but with the hidden agenda to see Mulan since they are going to marry in a year if Yun holds his word.

Cao Cao himself came with a small army led by Xu Chu to protect him, Cao Pi, and his wives. He trusts Yun but he wouldn't throw his life away just because of his trust. He is still a rational man and doesn't trust some of Yun's men wouldn't pull something while everyone had their attention on the wedding such as Lu Bu.

He still preferred Lu Bu dead but he gave Yun his word to fulfill three favors and keeping Lu Bu alive back then fulfilled only one for now. He also found out fast that Sun Quan was at the wedding to show presence that the South didn't want any conflict with him.

Cao Cao was happy to see that since it allowed him to concentrate all his attention on the North and Yuan Shao who still has a strong army even though he hasn't moved it since his defeat.

Sun Quan, on the other hand, has two headaches at the moment. One was Cao Pi who was getting in his way to enjoy his time with Mulan while the other was his little sister, Sun Ren, who he brought with him so she could meet Zheng.

But they soon disappeared with Fang taking Cao Pi away trying to divert Cao Pi's attention while Zheng and Rin began to deal with Sun Ren taking her attention.

Sun Ren knew about her future engagement with Zheng which Zheng didn't know at all since Yun never told him. This made their first meeting a bit awkward but thanks to Rin's cuteness the awkwardness disappeared rapidly as it came.

This gave Sun Quan the possibility to spend some precious time with Mulan when he hears, "Sun Quan, I need a moment of your time."

Sun Quan was pissed but he hide it well before he turned around and saw the groom standing before him. Yun was smiling at him but his eyes told a different story which made Sun Quan stand up and follow Yun.

They leave for a moment and Sun Quan asks, "What do you need, father-in-law?"

"I need your help in escorting some women to Xiangyang," says Yun seriously while Sun Quan's face turned red in anger.

"You know very well that Jing and Yang aren't on friendly terms since my father died in an ambush by Huang Zu," says Sun Quan furious just remembering it.

"You only need to get them to Shu a friend of mine will be waiting there for them. He is the husband of one of the women your men will be escorting there," says Yun informing Sun Quan that he didn't need to get them completely to Xiangyang which was in the heart of Jing.

"I can do that," says Sun Quan since Shu was in his territory when he asks, "Who is the person that will be awaiting them?"

"Like said, a friend of mine," says Yun not wanting to reveal the name of his friend since eyes and ears are everywhere in this wedding which hasn't started yet.

"I will send Huang Gai and some of his troops to deal with it," says Sun Quan making Yun happy.

"Thank you for helping me with this matter. Now don't let me hold you back any longer but remember," says Yun thankful before his tone changes, "There is still a year missing before your wedding so don't even think of sticking something in my daughter, do you understand?"

"Yes, sir," says Sun Quan feeling intimidated by Yun who smiles again and places one hand on Sun Quan's shoulder.

"Good, then return. I think I hold you back long enough," says Yun sending Sun Quan back.

Yun then returned to his seat and beside him was Cao Cao since he is Yun's Lord at the moment when Cao Cao asks, "I still don't know who your wife is, is she your age?"

"You will find out when you see her. I was quite reluctant to this marriage but we can't really choose our partners if fate has decided it for us, can we?" says Yun confusing Cao Cao for a bit when someone walks over toward Yun.

"The bride is ready we can begin with the ceremony," says the servant informing Yun who stood up.

"Well, don't let your mouth wide open when you see her or your wives will be jealous and not let you touch them," says Yun joking with Cao Cao as he leaves to get Zhen Luo so they could perform the Rites of Marriage.

Yun wasn't nervous since he did it once before this many people but Zhen Luo was. She was stiff even in her red dress and her face behind her veil which made many people suspect that she wasn't a beauty compared to Yun's previous wife.

"The one who should be tense is me, not you," says Yun joking about it trying to get Zhen Luo to calm down.

"My previous wedding wasn't this big," Zhen Luo nervous to make a mistake while performing the Rites.

"Trust me, once they see your face everyone will be quiet except for the people that know you," says Yun as he puts his arm out so she could grab it.

They interlock their arms before standing before the priest who tells them to kneel. They do as told and begin to bow down three times showing respect to the Heaven, the Earth, and their Ancestors.

After the Rites were down fireworks began to illuminate the night sky which showed why the Rites were performed at night and not during the day as normally before Yun sat down while holding a cup full of wine and lifting it.

"I thank everyone that came today to witness my wedding to my new wife, Zhen Luo. I hope that my marriage holds longer than my previous one and that you all have a long and prosperous life for coming today to celebrate it with us. Now drink and eat until you are full," says Yun as everyone drinks their cup of wine.

Everything was going fine until Gan Ning and some other Generals got too drunk and began to chant together, "We want to see the bride's face!"

They all knew her face but they wanted the whole Empire to know that their Lord married a real beauty who rivals their former Mistress. This went on for a while before Zhen Luo looked at Yun who just lifts his shoulders telling her that it was her decision to take.

She removed the veil and everyone could see her beauty which made many people speechless the Generals began to celebrate even louder the bond between their Lord and his wife.

Yun could see that Zhen Luo was now more relaxed than before as she leaned against him after finishing her fifth cup of wine and Yun grabbed her before standing up and saying, "It seems that I and my wife will retreat for tonight. I hope you continue to celebrate this day even without me being here."

Yun then retreated while carrying Zhen Luo like a princess as he walked toward the manor from the training field which was used to host the wedding because of the space it provided.

He used Light Qi to help Zhen Luo so she wouldn't get feel like crap after waking up before placing her onto their bed. He didn't remove their clothes as he lays down beside her and closes his eyes before falling asleep beside her.
