Description: In Freshman year of high school I was part of the Creative Writing club.
The assignment was to write a passage describing a person, place or event.
I chose my crush, whom I shared French class with and sat next to.
Nu walked into the classroom, posters of famous French Art and locations in Paris hung on the walls. Her shoulder length black hair bounced up and down as she skipped across the classroom to her assigned seat. She wore a white hoodie that had "GAP" in big black letters going across her chest along with dark blue jeans and maroon Adidas shoes. Her clothes looked great and complimented her yellow-tannish skin and Big Brown eyes. When she sat down to my left, she gave me a tiny smile showing off her red-pinkish lipstick.
As I smile back she pushes a curl of hair behind her ear revealing a silver studded diamond earring, I stare at it for a minute taking in it's beauty. She pulls her dark red backpack off and sits it on the floor, then she starts digging in it. When she sat back up she held out a box of "the world's finest chocolate" to me.
I take the box, a little confused but also curious, I start inspecting it seeing that it's Milk Chocolate Covered Almonds. "Is this for me?" I point to myself with my left hand and the box of chocolates in my right."Yes." she replies with her very thick Korean accent. I nearly tackle her down to the ground when I jump out of my desk and hug her.
A few people walked into class and gave us weird looks but I didn't care and Nu seemed to not care either. I finally let her go as class began. The box of the chocolates sat in the corner of my desk for the rest of the period.
